BEWARE
Wow…holes in the wall from replacing a wall light..stains in front of toilet on the floor..dirty floors…the only upside..the bed was sort of decent. Not the place to walk on the floor barefoot or leave clothes on the floor..room 110..ask for a better one !

I don’t two nights at the lodge in November 2024. The price was very reasonable for the accommodations. The lodge is older, but the room was clean and in good condition. I particularly enjoyed the live music on both Friday and Saturday nights. The bar was not selling alcohol for some reason, although I did not ask why.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. No critters or bugs I could see. Furniture was a bit banged up and stains in sink and tub but clean. The staff were friendly. The lobby is beautiful with a wood burning stove going for heat and charm. The property has a hotel and bar. I hope the owner is able to get the bar back open soon. The bar is nice with a pool table. For a small restaurant it was great. There seems to be something for everyone on the menu. The burgers are awesome and each variety named after the waiting staff. The fries were the best I have ever had. I would stay again.

This is an older resort BUT the staff is very nice, easy parking, beds are SO comfy and rooms are very clean. I’ve stayed here twice and have loved both times.

They do not do late checkout. Room is mediocre. It worked for our 1 night need but I doubt we stay there again and we will be staying in the area nearly every weekend for the next year.

Great place for the price.
I love stopping here when traveling through the area. Yes, it’s no frills, but it’s pretty, the staff has always been friendly, there is a restaurant on site and even live entertainment.

Disturbing stay at Skyline Lodge
I booked the skyline lodge because of the restaurant on site and I’m doing a whole move from Florida with my four year old so it was a convenience I was looking forward to. The first night I was there it wasn’t opened. We stayed without incident got up and went to the U-Haul place Walmart and a few other places. I had issues with my card at Walmart so I had to go back to the too and order Instacart and uber eats. Besides those two delivery drivers not a single soul came to my door since I don’t even know a single persob within a 1500 mile radius. The door of the room I was in was having issues fully staying shut so I had the lock across it. At 2:47 am on our second night me and my daughter were woken up by loud banging at the door. I answered the front desk lady said they had a noise complaint I explained she had just woken us up and made mention of a pair of naked boxers outside my door. The next day I went to the front desk to ask for a late check out and the guy said “ not after last night the state police are involved and have license plates” 🤔 I drove my truck with a U-Haul attached and parked all the way at the back of the parking lot and didn’t leave my room all night. When I asked what happened I wasn’t given any information I was told the police would contact me if it involved me. At this point it DOES involve me I was the one the was woken up and accused at 2:47 am and had to get my daughter back to bed. I’m also the one that had male underwear outside my door.
