Wonderful

Nobody at property on arrival, place locked up in darkness and nobody answering the phone. left several voicemails but to date (5 days later) still no response.
Worst holiday experience we have ever had; long distance travelled to find no accommodation.
Not what you need after a long day and the stress of having to find an alternative place to stay in the middle of half term week and everywhere else is fully booked.
Whilst it looked nice on first impressions, for a 5 star boutique hotel I certainly would have expected better
No bar service as advertised . If we had have been told about this before we would probably have cancelled the booking.
Great friendly hosts , just a shame that our expectations were not met.
The hotel is right in the centre of Filey and could not be better located. We were able to park on the street for free. We had a warm welcome from the owner. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was great and was cooked and served by a friendly lady in a relaxing dining area. Highly recommended.
This property was meticulously clean, beautifully decorated and well-maintained. It offered great facilities and the attention to detail made it a real home from home with a touch of luxury. The staff were friendly and professional and provided excellent service. Breakfast was gorgeous. It is located in a central location with access to all the local amenities.
A wonderfully beautiful, clean and very friendly Hotel. The owners put their hearts into this business and it can be clearly see it throughout the Hotel. We would certainly recommend to all. Many thanks for a very pleasant welcome and wonderful hospitality.
The host was friendly and had useful local knowledge , the property was close to the sea front , the breakfast was included and delicious. There is no parking at the property , Its an excellent B&b however I thought I had booked a boutique hotel.
Quite apart from the spectacular rooms and hotel in general, the absolute sheer glee of being hosted by someone who loves meeting wollw, and makes an ASTONISHING fried slice made this an absolutely gleeful base to do the Yorkshire coast from. Stay here, Filey is a small town, but The Bank bar is just great and everything you'd want get to (says a Yorkshireman) is an easy, no traffic 45 mins away.
Rooms are great, breakfast end-to-end is marvellous and you genuinely won't find better value for excellence in that part of the world.
Loved the bedroom, was decorated to a very high standard.

Disliked: Staff & service
Property caters to its type of clientele well enough to get good reviews. However it's not really a hotel as no evening meals supplied and it's a considerable stretch to call itself "boutique" ... that implies chic and something special."Luxury" equally does not apply. It's an adequate bed & breakfast/guest house.Parking can be a problem and certainly do not place any reliance on what management say about parking restrictions in the area.
