The property was situated in a perfect spot - directly across the road from the beach. There is a lovely restaurant downstairs and other restaurants are within walking distant.

Perfect spot to relax
Perfect location , close walk to town, restaurant downstairs , cafe on beach just a few minutes walk . Amazing views from Room and balcony . We booked a room with Ocean View and we certainly got that ! Friendly check in as well . Comfy bed and great hot shower ! Also had a mini bar in the room with very reasonable drink prices .

The first night there was a bit of street noise but the second night we shut the doors and windows and did not hear anything Close walking to restaurants and hotel Would stay there again

The Dorsal is in a lovely location and very close to the beach. The hotel could do with an update, it’s looking quite tired for the daily rate charged.

Great views, not so great hotel.
Not really a "boutique" hotel, just an overpriced motel room. Place looks old and tired. Limited storage in bathroom, no vanity unit. No microwave or toaster. TV reception non existent with constant loss of signal. Dark, damp and smelly carpark with not enough spaces for all guests. If you arrive back after 8.00 pm expect to park in the street. Very convenient to rock pool and beach. Very expensive just for beach views.

The Hotel was not up to our expectations for the price. The high spot was the receptionist at the front desk. She was most helpful and accommodating. We were disappointed with the room and the amenities available.

Located right across the road from Forster’s main beach and only a 5 min walk to the shopping mall. Rooms were good quality and we enjoyed having a balcony with a view of the ocean. Bathroom is very small and had no counter space, but for a short stay this was ok. Undercover parking & a lift was very convenient. Lots of cafes & restaurants within easy walking distance.
