"The Mermaid Suite"
This updated and charming 2 bedroom apartment is located on the second floor (1 flight of stairs up) in a multi-unit building. It’s located in a desirable & quiet section of the island that’s quite popular amongst vacationers, recognized for its combination of being away from the crowds, yet in very close proximity to one of the nicest sections of actual beachfront on Fort Myers beach. The unit sleeps 4 with its 1 king bed master bedroom (with private insuite bathroom) and it’s second bedroom with a queen bed. The unit is fully renovated and well equipped with practically everything you'll need for you beach vacation.
Extensive remodeling was completed in 2020 and much of the apartment is newer, following these renovations. This includes a newer living room sofa and loveseat, a newer dining set and outdoor furniture including a plush loveseat and high-top bistro- great for enjoying your morning coffee. Custom solid core doors and unique moldings were added too, as were chair railings and crown moldings. A lot of the lighting fixtures are newer as well, including recessed LED lighting and the contemporary 72” living room ceiling fan. The master bathroom was thoroughly updated as well- It has a newer, modern vanity with a beautiful vessel sink, newer toilets, mirrors, pendant lighting and very unique wave patterned tiling as well.
The showers in both bathrooms were all torn out and replaced as well, now featuring custom tile work and frameless shower doors in each bathroom. And the master bath features a unique Euro style shower panel with extra jets.
Many if not most all of the little items throughout are newer as well. Newer nightstands, lamps, blinds and a newer 55” 4k Smart TV too. There are new sheets, towels, pillows + bedding. Newer kitchen pots and pans, dishes, silverware, cookware, blender, toaster,crock pot, pyrex, glasses and more.
And the kitchen with it's quality wood cabinets, granite counters, full-size fridge, dishwasher and full size stove and oven were all added in recent years as well.
High speed mesh Wifi is available throughout the property and there’s streaming internet to the TV (so you can access your Netflix accounts, Prime, etc).
Free parking is included with your reservation.
There’s also an inviting backyard space as shown in the photos, including a tiki bar and a relaxing seating area, both of which are under gazebos that somehow survived the Hurricane! The tiki bar has a TV and the wifi signal works well from the backyard space as well. A new BBQ grill has also recently been added for your enjoyment. Note: this backyard area is shared with the other units in the building. There is also convenient, shared laundry equipment located on the 1st floor as well (located through the garage).

Check in is 4:00pm, or later. Check out: 10:30am. Primary renter must be at least 25 years old. Max 2 vehicles. No pets. No parties. No smoking indoors. Outside ok. Group size restrictions: # of overnight guests is limited to the number booked in your reservation (max of 4). Max 6 people in your party at any given time on the property please (to ensure that other guests enjoy their time here as well). Pricing is based on 2 people and additional fees apply for additional occupants: $15 per night, per each additional guest (up to a maximum of 4 guests in this unit). Disclosures: Several window cranks are inop. AC defaults to maintain 75 degrees, but is fully adjustable, down to a limit of 73 degrees. Security cameras in use on the property (outside & in the garage only). Nearby construction: Fort Myers Beach properties including the condo complex next door are continuing to receive Hurricane Ian repairs. Interaction with guests:
Guest will be able to access their unit via a digital deadbolt system, so the timing of arrival is quite flexible (anytime after 4pm) and the unit will be all set for you on the day of your check-in. Also, the owner lives in one of the other units in the building, so he's very close by, if the need arises. That said, guests are given their privacy on their side of the building, but can certainly call the owner, if needed. He’s very happy to help you with suggestions & advice to ensure your vacation is a great one!
