The Condo: Remodeled and equipped to the highest standard this is one of the best two bedroom two bathroom gulf facing penthouses in the Pointe Santo complex, just 50 feet from the sea. Fully air conditioned and each room, including the kitchen, has a ceiling fan. All you see when you look out of the floor to ceiling windows is the Gulf of Mexico, the beach and palm trees. A spiral staircase connects the screened lanai to the private sundeck. 3 televisions including a new 65” 4K OLED TV in the living room, cinema sound system and Xfinity with sports and entertainment channels , DVR, secure high speed (300+Mbps) Wi-Fi throughout the condo. Bring your log on credentials and enjoy streaming your favorites like NETFLIX, HBO, DISNEY, AMAZON PRIME, etc. For your convenience, the front door is fitted with a keyless entry electronic lock with your unique code. "Unit E45 2BR Beachfront Penthouse
Without question, this is the BEST condo rental available at Pointe Santo Sanibel. The views from this unit are some of the best on Sanibel Island, or even all of Southwest Florida. It was recently beautifully remodeled (2018) and even comes with a private sun deck on the roof that is accessed by a spiral staircase on the patio. The kitchen as you will see in the listing page here: https://www.vrbo.com/165420 is well appointed and high end. The owners David and Carol do a great job of including many of the essentials, like all soaps and paper products."

Unfortunately due to Hurricane Ian we had to cancel our trip to Sanibel.
I reviewed all things high as I am SURE we would have had an excellent experience. We are sad that our trip was cancelled and even more sad to see some of the photos of the island and the property. David has been so great about communication with us.

Everything is wonderful about this condo! We enjoyed the high quality details and David, the Host, was very prompt in responding to any questions. Remember to bring special bug spray for the “No See-Ums” (aka Sand flies) if you plan to be on the beach early morning, dusk, or on cloudy days.

EXACTLY what we hoping for!!!!
Our family of 4, including our 2 adult daughters, stayed together in this beautiful property on the top floor of Building E in Pointe Santo. We were so excited when we opened our unit door to see our condo was exactly as pictured and described on the website! The view of the Gulf of Mexico welcomed us immediately upon entering the freshly-cleaned and well-ordered space!! David and his wife have done a beautiful job of renovating and updating the unit in what is an older complex. Our living room, master bedroom, lanai and rooftop views directly out to the Gulf of Mexico were just magnificent! The large dining table allowed for family games every evening! And while we chose to eat every meal out, we did use the coffeemaker, the fridge and freezer, the dishware and silverware as well as one pan for reheating the ample leftovers. As described, this unit comes complete with everything a couple or group needs, including cookware, dishes, a few tools, and containers of dishwashing and laundry detergents. The beach cart folds away inauspiciously in the kitchen and is definitely helpful for the multiple treks down to the beach. The portable vacuum stored right next to it was an added pleasure in keeping barefooted sand and small shells cleaned up. Ample bath and beach towels kept everyone clean and dry, and the in-unit stacked washer and dryer definitely saw its fair share of use (make note for next visit: pack far less!). Pointe Santo is perfectly situated right in the center of Sanibel, making it easy to get to all nearby restaurants, shops, and tours and excursions. There are plenty of chaise lounges, which negated our use of our rented beach chairs (but we were also too busy swimming in the warm and wonderful Gulf, shelling in the water and on the shore and photographing the beautiful sunrises and sunsets and even the incoming storms!!) We appreciated David's emailed packet of information and in-unit info sheets--they were detailed and comprehensive. This one-week vacation was EXACTLY what we had hoped for, and we definitely plan to return to this unit the next time we head down to Sanibel! A big thank you to our hosts and staff!

Dream vacation
Our stay was amazing. The property was beautiful and it felt like home. The owners truly thought of everything while putting together the property. Every little detail was thought of. David was so kind and answered all of my questions when I had them. My favorite part was laying in bed at night and being able to actually hear the waves crashing on the beach. The resort itself is great too. We loved the tree house hut at the pool. It is so family friendly, and my daughter loved doing all of the crafts. Great place all around. I can’t wait to go back!

Perfect Accommodations!
Great experience! Unit was close to the elevator and everything was easily accessible for my aunt who uses a walker. The views were incredible and everything was exactly as advertised. I have to praise the owners for providing a fully functional kitchen with tons of serving dishes, beautiful cookware, and lots of useful tools like blenders, mixers, cookie sheets. You name it! We cooked all of our meals here all week and we had no issues! Loved the wagon too....it was great for transporting bags and beach stuff. Parking was the best, as it was right by the door!

We had a fantastic time at Sanibel. The condo has a beautiful view of the beach. Everything that was described in the listing was there. I have no complaints. FYI - Beach chairs are provided but can't be taken down to the water so if you want to sit down on the water, bring your own beach chairs.

This condo is amazing! Very clean. Everything there that we needed. Comfortable bed. Loved the rooftop. Spent evenings watching the beach walkers and the stars. The view is top notch right on the beach. Pointe Santo is a great beach community. Pool was busy but warm and we spent most of our time at the beach anyway. I can’t say enough nice things about this home. Will definitely go back!!! Thankyou to David and Carol for allowing us into your beautiful beach home!!

Stunning Stay
We travel to Florida for spring break every year and have stayed in multiple places. This place is amazing! Old school feel on the grounds... biking all around the island with ease... Beach was super close, pool / hot tub never crowded. Top deck was the best! A special place for my husband to wait while his 3 teenage daughters got ready for dinner:) ONLY complaint - and not for the condo owner - was there should be more shopping carts for checking in and out. We only saw one for our building. We didn't have an issue on arriving, but leaving it wasn't readily available. Also, there are no beach chairs with the room so we had to buy our own. So that could be a nice to have. We would come back in a heartbeat to stay here!!!

Our family of 4 had a great time staying at this beautiful property! This unit is in an incredible location with direct waterfront views. We loved hearing the ocean waves so clearly in the mornings and and night. The roof deck is a very nice addition as well. Our girls loved the pool and the entire community is very family friendly. David provided us with a bunch of helpful information which made our stay pretty seamless. We rented bikes and beach gear and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. I lived on the island for several years and was being picky about where we wanted to stay - very happy with this unit, Pointe Santo, and overall location on the island. It was great!

Fabulous condo right on the beach
I can't say enough great things about this condo! The unit is spotlessly clean, features everything a family can possibly need for a week at the beach, and offers the most spectacular views of the oceanfront, including both sunrise & sunset. We especially appreciated the convenience of the fully-stocked kitchen for cooking and the provided beach cart & beach towels. The communication with the owner was first-rate. We can't wait to come back next year!

Beautiful condo, unexpected construction
This property is beautiful and well equipped. The beds are especially comfortable. We ate many meals in and found anything we needed in the kitchen to cook. The view is beautiful and the beach area fantastic. The disappointment was that the roof top area was under construction and not accessible. The roof top was the main draw for selecting this property, so that was a sharp disappointment. Otherwise we had a very comfortable stay.

Great property condo was exactly as presented and the area was great. Only reason for the 3 star property cleanliness is due to a huge construction job on the property. It does not pertain to the condo we stayed at or was it our hosts responsibility. Would definitely return once construction is competed

The condo unit is truly magnificent and the owners are equally terrific. As advertised with all the 5-star reviews, the owners are very approachable and responsive. A beach cart had been missing from the condo upon our arrival and the owner had a new one available for our use the very next day (on a Sunday, no less). The property has everything you could possibly need and it appears to be the nicest of all the units. Literally, everything, the parking space, the views, the location, the beds, the renovations -- all are top-notch. Will definitely revisit soon.

This is our 2nd time staying at this condo and all I can say is the location and view can’t be beat! Property is clean and description in listing is completely accurate. You are steps from the beach which is awesome! One of the highlights of our stay is a turtle laying eggs on the beach right out front of the condo. We were lucky enough to be down on the beach the next morning when the ladies were working to cover it and stake it out and got to have a peek into the nest. Last but not least the owner David is great to work with!
