The staff were very friendly and we were able to check in well before the scheduled time. Our room was spacious and located very close to the beach. Beach access was simple and chairs were provided without needing to be reserved.

It's not really a resort. They have a pool and a tennis court. All rooms enter from the parking lot and the facilities are not connected to the beach/front desk/dining. There is no real common area other than to go eat at the restaurant. We found ants/bugs on our toothbrushes in the morning. They offered to comp our "resort" fee, but it wasn't like they were surprised there were bugs. The beach was really nice, and that's the only reason we stayed there. It was too cold to do anything else that week. Would not return. I was very disappointed in the island overall. It was very much hyped versus other nicer islands in Florida I've visited.

We enjoyed our stay here! The location is amazing and right on the beach. Pool area and bar were great and the on location dining options were convenient and good! Rooms are on the small side but the beds were super comfortable and the hotel is very quiet! Would absolutely recommend this beach gem.

Beach front was quiet and very nice. Had chairs that you didn't have to rent. Pool was great and very warm. Nice Tiki Bar and food was very good. BRGR had great staff, limited menu but was very good both times we ate there.

Fint läge precis vid stranden
Bra hotell med jättefint poolområde och fint läge precis vid stranden. Vårt rum var ganska enkelt och kanske lite trångt för fyra personer men var helt ok för en natt. Det är dock läget och utomhusområdet som gör detta hotell, poolen var jättefin med massor av stolar precis som på stranden. Kul med lite aktiviteter att göra och bra strandbar att äta lunch på. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och vi fick rummet långt innan planerad incheckning och vi kunde även stanna kvar och nyttja poolområdet efter utcheckning.

Shell, yes!
Sanibel is gorgeous, quiet, and this hotel feels like a getaway. Amazing beach. Lovely staff. Great food. Family friendly. We looked for shells with every walk and found more than we could ever imagine.

We wanted a place convenient and near the water. This place was just in off the main road, yet quiet and discreet. Parking adequate, pool and pool bar great. Our room was clean, smaller than Marriott, but worked. The staff were hard working, diligent and respectful. Close by the Japanese Steakhouse for sushi. They have a eating kitchen/cafe next to the hotel that is brand new and has good hours. Loved the beach and walking to find seashells.

I paid a lot of money $500 per night for this hotel...our room looked like a super 8 motel room and the hanging closet fell off the wall the second night we were there. the room was not particularly clean. The room was outdated and is dire needs of an update. It was our honeymoon suite as we got married during our stay. We left a day early because of the condition of our room. the beach is really nice but not worth the investment for a three-night stay. we asked for a one-night reprieve on pricing, but they said that Hotels.com would not allow that. They were willing to give us a credit but Hotels would not grant the request. Nothing positive to say about this hotel.

I was disappointed to be placed in a King accessible room when I clearly chose a regular King. It was smaller than expected; had a microwave & refrigerator that froze our water & carrots but didn’t have either the table with 2 chairs, or the 2 person sofa bed with coffee tables as shown, so nowhere to place a snack that you’d have in microwave or refrigerator. So disappointing. It was clean and new looking inside though. Just be sure to get what you ask and pay for.

Positive stay overall
The room was clean and nice. The bed and pillows were a lot more comfortable than those at a lot of other places we've stayed. Our rooms were cleaned daily even when we thought it might have been too late to have the room cleaned. I really enjoyed the heated pool and the bar as well as the private beach and access to beach chairs.
