Super Ft Walton Escape

This was the perfect location for a beach getaway...and probably one of the better places on Fort, Walton Beach. First of all the accessibility to the beach was perfect with a nice and neatly mountain boardwalk. pool bathrooms, or constantly being cleaned and that was much appreciated. In my opinion the pool is the largest on the beach, and so nicely maintained. It was the perfect escape at the end of the day, or at the chop was a bit rough. Will, the beach service attendant, was very helpful. I gave him a daily tip(($10/day) and he had our chairs set up for us with our names on it for the week. Beach service was included but it is first come first serve basis, so it was nice to have our chairs ready when we were. These guys were hard-working and impressive carrying 12 at a time when setting up. Unit #415 was a great location for us for many reasons. It was very accessible to our vehicle parked on the top level. Second, it was very close to the elevator --we thought that this might be a downfall. We found the noise from the elevator did not bother us. The unit was neat, clean and representative of the photos online. Everything worked from lights to appliances. We were told to be notified that our unit was ready for us to move in earlier than the 4 o'clock check-in… Super appreciated!! If you were trying to football records. This complex and unit again.

This was a great first experience of traveling by myself. The condo I stayed at was perfect! Right on the beach. I did not rent a car. Utilized an airport shuttle and then Uber to go to the places I wanted to see. A wonderful trip!

Perfect!

This was perfect for our family of 4. My 2 boys loved the bunks and how they had their own tvs. The kitchen was well stocked down to the charcoal for the grills. Beautiful beachfront/ ocean view. The facility management kept the property well maintained. We loved this place. We hope to return next fall.

Overall I would stay here again, but would like to see a more thorough cleaning and a couple of minor updates. Dirt / dust was visible on baseboards, bathtubs/showers had natural build up of grime from old age in creases / corners and probably just need replaced. The washing machine needs a good detail as it had a faint smell of mold / mildew. The gasket / seal probably needs cleaned all around. Just a few minor things. I would still rate the stay a 9.5 out of 10. Great communication with owners, etc. Sheets, furniture, floors, kitchen, and toilets were all very clean.

My vacation

Great location and loved everything the property offered. Management group easy to work with. The condo was very dirty and rundown. The ceiling fans dirty, the curtains and blind were sandy and very filthy. Bathrooms were not clean at all. Toilets and floor were nasty. Refrigerator and freezer missing shelves. Dishwasher door would not shut. Shower and tub had mold and hair in them. Management was notified and they wanted to send housekeeping over again. When you pay in advance to have a clean place, it expected to be clean. Never was offered a refund on the cleaning problem. Did not want someone in cleaning after we arrived. This was a large mistake to rent this unit.

Pictures were deceiving

We loved everything about the property... Location, view, codes for access instead of keys. However the inside of the condo was dirty. All of the furniture was grungy and had old dirt on it. We had to cover with sheets to sit on the sofa. Coffee table moved away so we could not see the dirt it was so unappealing. Childs handprints on the mirror we had no children with us. Mold or something growing on the corners of the shower doors. Moved the rug in the main area and there was a ton of sand and dirt underneath. Rug was very worn and unappealing. Lived the location and the view. Very disappointing on the inside. Would not rent again.
