The location is about 7 miles outside the centre of Fort William - hence you need a car to get to any local restaurant, pub, or place of interest. The shared toilet is 2 (small) flights of stairs down - which is not great in the middle of the night - although motion-detector lights activate. The room was about as small as you could get - with a (very) single bed. Otherwise, breakfast was good.
Although our bedroom was a bit small for 3 people, it was clean, beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the breakfast. We were able to park our car right in front of the property. Our host was very lovely and hospitable, she really made us feel like home. We really recommend Nevis View those looking for a nice B&B staying around Fort William and Glen Nevis area!
A great find. Very quiet area, but well placed. Ample parking on street, not much more than 10 minutes walk to station.
Friendly and welcoming host. Good breakfast.
Spotlessly clean!
Host welcoming knowledgeable and helpful about surrounding area and points of interest.
No issue for us as was clear on description room we booked was shared toilet/shower facility not en suite.
It is a 'traditional ' b&b-youre staying in a room in hosts home which again suited us as we wanted to be out and about during the day but guests should note theres no lounge for guest use
Very friendly and cosy. Very well located. Lots of thought had gone into providing everything guests might need. It is a shared bathroom which could put some people off. Room was a little cramped but comfortable. Good breakfast. Good value overall.
VERY POOR.
Its not a hotel, basically someones house. The rules are ridiculous.
I arrived at 16:00 and despite being told that the room was ready I was told that I had to wait until 5pm to go in because the owners "needed to go to the shops" they then came back later than 5pm and I had to sleep in my car.
I was then told that I was not allowed in the hotel (which I paid for) form the hours of 9:30 AM to 5PM on any day which is ridiculous as most people come here to hike and will be exhausted the next day.
As people come to hike they need to leave early so dont expect breakfast as it only runs from 7:30 to 9 - a very poor business tactic for skimping on serving food.
The toilet was clean, the room was okay, with a used teabag in my mug, and a couple of dead insects about.
The staff were abrupt, and with no knowledge of the local area (they didnt know anywhere to have dinner).
Parking is on the street.
Overall very poor experience and not worth the price.
Friendly. Clean. Comfy. No en-suite but private bathroom all immaculate.
Needed sleep. Got sleep.
Tv In room. Tea coffee facilities. Wi-fi
Perfect stay.
We had a lovely stay. Barbara was very welcoming and it felt very homely. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Only a quick drive to Fort William so very convenient. Great views from our room. Will stay again
Thank you again for an excellent comfortable and welcoming stay. Barbara, you were amazing and thank you again for accomodating us, and we will be back for sure! Beds are super comfortable, breakfast was great and Barbara's local knowledge and willingness to help out made out break that bit more special
