I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming cabin in Mount Airy for two nights, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The cabin was spotless and thoughtfully furnished, combining rustic charm with modern comforts.The location was absolutely perfect – tucked away in a serene wooded area yet close enough to explore Mount Airy’s quaint shops and attractions. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping and enjoying coffee on the porch with stunning views was a highlight of the trip.The amenities exceeded expectations, with a cozy fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and even a hot tub to unwind after a day of exploring. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a base for adventure, this cabin is a gem. We’re already planning our next visit!

Quiet and comfortable stay!

The staff were exceptional, friendly and very responsive. Property was very clean and neat. Morning breakfast was excellent.

We stayed last night and everyone was extremely friendly! The room was spacious and beds were comfortable! The breakfast options in the morning were plentiful, and something for everyone! They had your normal cereals, muffins and pancakes/waffles. They also had regular sausage, turkey sausage, biscuits and gravy, eggs, fresh cinnamon rolls etc… Only negative is toilet roll holders instead of just on the back of the toilet.

I have two grown son's (22 and 26). I am recently divorced the men-children still live with Mom. The boys and I decided that we should get together between Thanksgiving and Christmas every year. I agreed and we decided that we would use VRBO well the name alone sold me!!! We were able to Check in an hour early, which was great! My boys were driving up from Concord, NC (1hr 30mins for them) and I was driving up form Wallace, NC (3hrs 45mins for me) and we met in Mt Airy, NC (about 20-25 mins from the "It's Five O'Clock Here") in Fancy Gap, VA.Mt. Airy, NC, We ended up walking for a while on the "Riverside Park Greenway", with Alfred my Bulldog.We had Lunch at Barney's Cafe, it was home cooked burgers, fries - really good.Did the Andy Griffith Museum (I enjoyed, sons, not so much). I found it very interesting!Pit Stop Pizza and Grill (Fancy Gap, VA) had dinner here, and the boys were stunned that I was taking them to a Gas Stating Italian Dinner! Well, it WAS great and they were surprised.The Copper Pot we had breakfast here (it was a home cooked southern breakfast)We then went our separat ways home.We are considering returning next year, same time!Overall, we give "It's Five O'Clock Here" a Solid 9.5/10!
