Where do I even begin?! From the moment I booked the venue (about 3 months in advance), Nicole was absolutely phenomenal in communicating. I had a number of questions that would randomly pop up as we approached the date, and she always responded timely and with great energy. She was so helpful and really just made the process that much better. She was able to accommodate an earlier than usual check-in time, letting me know the day of that we could get in early. We knew there was a chance we couldn't so planned for both, but once we got the green light, it made our efforts go super smooth as we were allowed to get in ahead of the others to decorate and set up for the weekend's bachelorette fun. The house was everything I could have imagined and so much more! The pictures do as much justice as they can, but I swear the in-person feeling when you drive up is beyond what the pictures could portray. (I could still be on the "high" of it all, but myself and a number of my guests were already talking about how we could plan family vacays there.) Nicole and her hubby Rene were so sweet and thoughtful to leave a bottle of wine for me and my guests with a congratulatory note making the moment even more special. The house was in tip-top shape, the rooms super spacious and inviting. The fact that they have three rooms with king beds (and still enough room to maneuver in each) is awesome. All of my guests were super comfy (we had 13 adults). The cottage in the back isn't too far from the house so the guests that stayed out there didn't feel detached at all. (We used the *pillow top* air mattress in the cottage living room.) We spent some time in the pool which was nice being indoors. It does come with a heater and requires a few hours to heat up (and an additional cost per day), so next time we'll plan a little better to get the full effects of the heated pool (we forgot to turn it on before wine tour). We never made it into the garage, but there was a ping pong table, corn hole (which was awesome to see because we left ours) and another table game. I wish we had more time there because that was definitely another spot we could have kicked back and had fun (Next time for sure!). Overall, I give Nicole and Rene's house a 10 out of 5 - I have told anyone who would listen about their listing in Fredericksburg and truly hope I can return soon with my family. Thank you so much to the Gallegos' for helping to make my bachelorette weekend absolutely unforgettable!!
