This place is a gem among hotels that may be marginal or questionable. The area is safe, clean, near major visitor attractions. The room was remodeled nicely with modern fixtures, lamps with electrical outlets and cell phone chargers, furniture, beds and bedding. The indoor pool is clean and warm. The start is friendly, professional and proficient especially the manager, and staff member who checked us in and Naomi, the breakfast hostess who made sure there was plenty of joy and cold breakfast items and assistance with the waffle maker!

The overall stay was ok I had a ok sleep on the king size bed my spouse found the mattress low quality and I agree. Staff at check in was pleasant but made mistakes but the staff at check out had to deal with the mistake made and she could have been more professional in my opinion. The location was convenient and area was safe and quiet the hotel in the morning was busy and noise was coming through the walls,But it was a holiday weekend (It’s a maybe come come back for me)

This is an older hotel, so expect some wear and tear. There were some things in my room that weren’t very clean though (a couple towels, the dresser, the desk). Also, the air conditioner is apparently controlled by a motion-sensor, so when I was away from my room for work meetings, it would shut off and the temperature was 79 degrees when I came back. It also had a musty smell to it - not sure if it was the room or the air conditioner but it was unpleasant. The area the hotel was in was very quiet though, and felt safe as someone from out of town.

The lobby looked nice, breakfast was good but our room was not good. Lots of big stains on the carpet, rips on the arms of sofa. Looked like furniture thats for free on the curb. A q tip and deodorant were under the red chair left by a previous guest. Im not sure why this place had a score of 8/10. Id give it 4/10 for decent breakfast and helpful staff. Also the free wifi with no password didnt work well. Probably people on the street using it.
