Hatteras Hideaway is a well equipped and comfortable cottage and would make a great vacation destination for your family. All guests need to bring linens, towels, and paper products. Hatteras Hideaway is decorated and furnished to the owners taste. Coffee Maker, Microwave, Toaster, Pots/Pans, Dishes, Cutlery, Silverware, Glasses, Mattress Pads, Pillows and Blankets/Comforter are provided. Reservation Fees, Partial Stay Fees, Tax and Insurance Apply.

not what I expected for the price I payed
Where do I begin…. Cigarettes on the floor in the children’s bedrooms along with burn marks, holes in doors, non working jacuzzi tub, HOT ( air does not work properly 84 degrees inside and you are not able to adjust due to it being locked) people coming in and out of the garage to get equipment. Air conditioning unit leaks onto rug outside of the area it is kept. Patio furniture broken (owner did come and replace when mentioned) blinds broken, stains on beds, drawing on walls. Vent dangling from kitchen ceiling and the list goes on. I do wish I could attach pictures for anyone considering a stay my future trips will not include dolphin reality.

Would stay here again!
Tastefully decorated and very comfortable home. Well maintained. Loved the natural light and views! Not completely thrilled with cleaning done by cleaning crew. I wiped down touch points out of precaution for covid and found my towels dirty. Small wrappers behind dressers / night stands and couch. Very easy walk to the beach. Loved the warm water in outside shower. Hose was convenient to get sand off of beach items / shoes. We only used 1 bedroom. I found mattress to be very uncomfortable. However, looked like bunk beds had memory foam mattresses. Overall great home!
