This one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo has classic amenities like WiFi, cable, and a deck for taking in the sea breeze and wonderful views. Lounge inside or out on comfortable furniture.

Worst condo I’ve ever stayed in
The Victorian room 3329 in Galveston was absolutely awful. It was filthy, the ac didn’t work well, the fridge didn’t function properly, the couch bed was broken. I reached out twice for help and no one local ever followed up. It was apparent the place had not been cleaned well, the front door didn’t want to lock. I had to purchase fans for our stay.

The check in was easy and the front desk attendant was super friendly. We got to the unit and we were shocked. Rust in the bathtub, side tables in the bedroom were basically falling off the wall. The day bed in the hall way had no linens nor blankets or pillows for it. I called Vacasa and requested our $432.00 back and the rep on the phone told me NO REFUNDS. She asked me to submit pics and video to them for proof. I asked for a supervisor and she told me she would have one call me. To date 7/15/22 I have never received that call nor an email to submit the pics she requested. We stayed in the unit limiting our time to sleeping only, We went to Walmart and purchased sheets, pillow and a blanket for our daughter so she could sleep as pleasant as possible. It was 7pm when we checked in and had been driving for 8 hours to walk into this unit was shocking. No other units available to rent and not knowing if they were going to give me a refund we stayed however I promise I will share my experience with every social media outlet to make sure no one else is taken by this management company.

Needs a lot of work. Will not be back here.
Tv in bedroom did not work and was falling off the wall. The bedroom wall behind the bed looked like it was falling down. The lovely drain above the shower drips non stop cold gross water while you shower. Shower curtain is moldy and nasty (noted on a review in 2018- same one possibly). Extremely old patio furniture inside, and chairs outside were too rotten to sit in. Stove top ripped out and two burner hot plates set in their place. No way to deadbolt front door from inside. No light chain in bedroom-unscrew lightbulb to turn off. Alarm clock plug broken in two. Iron board broken. Elevator door stays open an inch during use. Pool very cloudy and needs cleaning. Have stayed in other units here, much nicer and better taken care of. This can’t be a super host. Do not rent 3329!! We took pictures of all the above if anyone wants to take an interest.

Disappointing
Not good, old and dingy. The air condition drip water was overhead in the shower, it's cold and who wants that while taking a shower. The mirror above the bathroom sink had left over residue from, I'm guessing, previous occupants. The bedroom closet had women's purple underwear hanging up in it. The kitchen leaves a lot to be desired. The pictures sure looked a lot better in real life to say the least. Lesson learned, you definitely get what you pay for. I was just trying to save a little money, won't do that again.

Filthy! The front desk can do nothing for you as these are private owned "condos" aka 1970's motel rooms that have not been updated since they were built but the worst part is they are filthy...do not take off your shoes...your feet will get as dirty as they would at a corner store restroom. The walls are peeling, the drywall is falling off the wall in chunks, the ac vents are molded, rusted and nasty, the trim is coming of the counters, the carpet is molded & filthy, the curtains are torn and nasty, the beds are worn out, the couch is dilapidated, the front door is peeling and molded, there is major built up dirt over the door frames, the tub need to be resealed as there are cracks, the water pressure is barely there, the room corners have dirt and funk built up in them, the cabinets have holes in them, the ceiling has mold and dirt, the vacuum in the room is broken and missing the handle, the mirror is chipped and cracked, the ac intake and filter was filthy, the door had been jb welded together, the only way to get the fan to work in the bedroom and turn off the light was to unscrew the bulb. I have stayed at the victorian many times since 1994 but this will be my last. The overall rest of the property is in the same shape crappy and not taken care of. A renovation is needed but the.least of their worries! This property is disgusting, filthy and an absolute ripoff for what you pay. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE THAT YOU CAN STAY AT IN GALVESTON! If you have to stay here stay home! Pissed off customer that will NEVER BE BACK!!!!! YOUR ENTIRE FACILITY STAFF AND CONTRACTORS SHOULD BE FIRED! I WILL BE CONTACTING THE GALVESTON HEALTH DISTRICT, FIRE MARSHALL, GALVESTON COUNTY AND CITY OF GALVESTON. YOUR FACILITY IS REDICULOUS!

Old and nasty!
We stayed here as a last minute trip to Galveston. It was July 4th weekend so we had little choice. I had read the reviews so I came armed with airfreshner and some cleaning supplies. Upon first site it appears the front to door had been kicked in and fixed in the cheapest way. Inside the decor is old and in poor condition. Large parts of the wall are peeling off, the mini fridge was frosted over. To make matters worse the shower was stuck in the on position, so no bath for small children.

You pay for cheap, you get cheap.
I should have known the rate was too good to be true. Upon arrival, the grounds overall were very nicely kept & attractive. However, once entering in the actual condo itself, we discovered that unit was very run down & outdated & in need of repairs. Plastering on walls were chipping off, master bedroom ceiling fan only worked with the light ON - pull string to turn light portion off was broken so I either had to sleep with the light on or turn fan off completely which caused for a hot room at night. The kitchen area was very small & the description never stated it only came with a dorm size refrigerator. It would've been nice knowing prior to arrival for people like me who brought food. Paneling around kitchen counter was falling off. The couch extended into a bed but springs were missing & laying under the couch so we had to fix that before it was safe enough to sleep on. Overall cleanliness was acceptable I suppose. I saw a few details that needed attention but nothing that made me feel as if it was left dirty for us. The shower drain was stopped up. After 4 people took their showers, I was fearful the tub was going to overflow. Unfortunately that issue wasn't discovered until late our first night. The following morning the problem was reported to the front desk & the response I got was "it wasn't their problem, that I would have to call the booking agency & go through them". The other thing I didn't like is when giving the front desk my information, she couldn't find any paperwork showing I was even there or who was in that unit. Not impressive for a guest to see the staff can't keep up with information on who their guests are. I called the booking agency number but was unable to speak to a live person & had to leave a voicemail explaining the problem. I've now returned home, it's been 6 days since leaving the voicemail with HomeAway.com & NO ONE HAS RETURNED MY CALL! Luckily for me, I knew enough about plumbing that I was able to rig a snake of sorts together & unstop the drain myself so we didn't have to stand in dirty water each time we showered. Again I say, you pay for cheap, you get cheap. If we'd ended up having bad weather & was forced to stay inside a lot during our time there, I would've been even more unhappy with the unit. However it was sunny & beautiful so we stayed gone as much as possible from the unit. I won't be using this booking agency or facility again in the future. Overall, not impressed. The owners need to update!

Sorry to say...
I do not like leaving negative reviews, but this place was in serious need of a face lift. Almost everything was grungy and old. My son took his shoes off when we got in and the bottom of his feet were black when he sat down. Too many things to list, seriously almost every single thing from wall paint, shower curtain, cabinets, furniture to flooring needs to be upgraded or replaced. I seriously do not like being negative, but this place was a dump. I was disgusted the whole time and happy to leave. The service, process and location were fine, but the actual room was very poor. I only leave one star because I have to give at least one.

Mediocre however great price for Galveston.
The property is very close to everything in Galveston the pool area and beach area in the hotel are fantastic. The condo it self is a bit dated the TV in the bedroom does not work using remote or trying to power on from the device. The closet door is off track and has to be picked up to move. I tried to use one of the blankets in the closet with the safe in it. The blanket had either food or vomit on it not sure which so we went to Wal-Mart to purchase some sheets and a blanket for the hall way bed. It was a very inexpensive condo so I can't complain about it to much you get what you pay for. The living room, kitchen and dining area were all ok no issues.
