No River View!
Didn’t see the River at all. Very spacious but upstairs flooring could use some insulation- loud walking and talking. Kitchen could use a meat pan/baking pan and a cookie sheet. A cheese grater too. Okay location and modern but not as advertised.

Not As Advertised
Pros: In town, near grocery and north entrance Good fridge- clean linens and lots of towels Cons: not as advertised! Is a BASEMENT unit and is very loud. No instructions on splits that are there to control heat/air Towels smell mildewy even though there were lots. We rented this place because it had stars for clean and supposedly a view. (FYI the only view is of the parking lot from the broken front door). While linens, floor, and kitchen were clean the floorboards and bathroom floorboards and around the toilet were covered in dust and needed scrubbed. We did contact the owner about the front door literally hanging off its hinges. Statement was “well it’s only the screen door so it’s fine” We did not engage the Owner about the other issues as we had no other place to go. However this property needs to be advertised properly and given a deep Clean. Also- rules posted inside the house don’t match what was advertised online . So another heads up.

Stay in Gardiner
Property was very nice and close to everything in town. Only complaint was the last 2 days the people upstairs running and jumping and it was very loud.

Great location and very clean
Enjoyed our stay. We loved the location which made it easy to walk to dining and shops. Place was nicely furnished and updated. Very close to Yellowstone north entrance. Would recommend it to other travelers (it is a basement unit but does have windows in the 2 bedrooms)

Conveniently located located to the park and dining locations. It is basement level of a home and there is noise from upstairs heavy walking. Rental was clean and accessible on time.

Misleading listing
Very nice location, but unit is not as advertised. - Owner of property usually takes 8+ hrs to respond. - Internet is extremely slow. 4.66 mb/s download and 1.77 mb/s upload, so unable to work effectively from this place. - Another unit up stairs with thin walls - you can hear people walking around and talking even when they are quiet. - minimal warm water for showers.

Close to Yellowstone entrance
The property looks just like the pictures, however it wasn't clear that it was a lower unit. Very clean and close to the park entrance. I accidently booked a Tuesday - Saturday instead of Wednesday - Sunday. Management reached out to me and i was able to stay until Sunday since it wasn't booked so that worked out!

Good location
Location was good, street is a gravel alley. Kitchen was why we booked but you cant cook in it because the heat from the oven sets off the fire alarm (no smoke, just from the heat). Small bathroom - which is ok but tight if you have mutliple people staying with you. Clean and updated. Very easy to hear people walking around upstairs.

Nice renovated basement home
We had a good time, accurate listing but its a basement with no windows except bedrooms so the home was freezing the whole time and you could hear the occupants of the main house walking, luckily we share the place for only one night. It’s clean, renovated and has all the basics. The only bathroom was very small

Clean and adequately furnished.
I will probably never stay in a VRBO property again. The decor was a little upscale for a family with four small children who would all stay in one bedroom. I have stayed in condos in Florida on the Gulf Coast and in Delaware on the Eastern Shore where the price included the cleaning fee and there was no damage deposit.

Great place to stay in Gardiner
Recently remodeled, well-equipped, and clean. Luckily we only had people upstairs for one day of our stay, as their foot traffic was really loud.

Great Value and Met Our Needs
We travelled to Yellowstone National Park as a family of 4 (with two very young children), as well as with the grandparents. We felt the property met most of our needs (it would have been nice to have had laundry facilities on-site; however, this was not a huge deal, as there is a laundromat in town). We stayed for nearly a week, so at some point, we did encounter a shortage in supplies (trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels), but we did find that once we contacted the owners, they were quick to respond to our emails and supplied us with what we needed the same day. The basement property is located off of a gravel road. Initially, we were concerned, considering how the surrounding homes looked, but we were very pleased with the rental, once we stepped through the doors and found how clean it was (I felt the pictures accurately depicted what was there). There was another family with young children who stayed in the property above us and we were able to hear their little ones' footsteps scurrying around, but since we were travelling with little ones ourselves, we were willing to overlook the bit of noise we could hear through the floor. The property is nicely furnished and well-maintained. And given that breakfast that is included in the price of the rental, through the owners' restaurant in town, Rosie's Bistro, you definitely get your money's worth from staying at the B&B. As others have noted, there are no restrictions as to what you can order from the breakfast menu and the owners extend a 10% discount towards purchases for lunch and dinner. That said, there were times when we encountered a huge rush at the restaurant (we were there in mid-June) and if we weren't lucky on timing, there was a bit of a wait until we were initially served (because of this, we noticed customers walk out from time to time). So to address this (and save us time, since it is a bit of a drive to see some sights in Yellowstone Park, e.g. it is a 2-hour drive one-way from Gardiner to the West Thumb Geyser Basin in the south... and that's not accounting for any possible bear jams or bison jams or any other animal jams you might get stuck in for potentially half an hour!), I took pictures of the breakfast menu and we wrote out our family's orders ahead of time, which we would hand to the server as soon as we got in and our food didn't take long to arrive. Having tried nearly everything on the menu, I personally recommend their white chocolate chip pancakes!

Would recommend
Overall, the house was quite comfortable and clean. The town of Gardiner is very nice. The house is located within walking distance of most restaurants and stores. The only draw back is the fact that the house is located beneath another house that is also rented out. The noise from upstairs was a bit of a challenge at times. But again, would defiantly recommend this house.

Good value and location
This was a very nicely remodeled basement in a ranch style house. The pictures truly depict what you get. The rental was very clean, nicely furnished and comfortable for the 6 of us. The location was very good. We liked the town of Gardiner and especially loved the Iron Horse Bar and Grill for dinner. It was very convenient and generous to have breakfast included. We went to Rosie's just a 10 minute walk away (a shorter drive). We got to order anything we wanted for breakfast (no special menu for B&B guests). The food was very good. All in all, I would stay there again. Driving to the house, we found ourselves on an unpaved road just up from the main street and wondered if we were in the right place. But, when we got inside, we were happy to see the property was every bit as clean and beautiful as the pictures we saw on HomeAway.

No view and not a BnB
The place is nice, clean and well-maintained but the property is almost a basement with windows, the only view you have is to fifth street dirt road. There is another rental above it with stairs up to a locked door. The sound and footfalls are directed straight to the master bedroom. I recommend a door be placed at the base of the stairs for noise reduction There are leather couches and chairs but the backs feel like they have leaf springs in them that have to be compressed before you can sit back - hard and uncomfortable. It's not a B and B, it's a room that comps you a breakfast elsewhere. If try to search the name it will only show up on VRBO. I'm assuming the owner has a deal with or owns Rosie's Bistro where you get your free breakfast. The food was pretty bad except for the coffee and biscuits, we bypassed it the second morning. Nice place to stay but the description of view and BnB are wildly inaccurate.

Property was really great, next to Yellowstone
We really loved staying at this property. The apartment was clean and had a nice kitchen. It was very close to Yellowstone and we had breakfast at their restaurant in Gardiner. There were a couple of grills, although we didn't use them. Great view of a mountain range from the front yard.
