This was our second time staying here and we will probably come back. It affordable, walkable and easy to park. We upgraded to a fireplace room and were disappointed you had to buy wood. It also would have been nice to have hotter water with it being so cold outside.

Great size room! Clean, nice fireplace and balcony with good river (brooke) view. Highly recommend this place. The staff in the office at check in was super sweet! Thank you for a great stay!

Great place for the price.
The room was clean and updated bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Free continental breakfast, pancakes biscuits and gravy, cereal, toast, bagels, yogurt, fresh apples. Coffee, orange juice,bottle water. For the money a great find.

Great location to downtown Gatlinburg. Hotel is a little dated but very clean and the staff were helpful and kind. The creekside rooms come with great views of the creek and a private balcony. Would definitely stay again.

Love Brookside Resort, So will you!
We love staying at Brookside every year. Sux yrs now. Very friendly, very accommodating, it makes the entire trip a joy. We go in Nov before Thanksgiving, all the Christmas lights and atmosphere all over, magical. We enjoy building a fire and relaxing. Step out on your patio and the beautiful creek is just below. You should give it a try!

It was nice. We got a room with a river view and a fireplace. The room reeks of smoke, but I expected that. We did light a fire one night and smoke billows into the room, so that’s why. We tried to fix the fireplace and make sure the flue was open, but there’s no way to check. The room was nice. We enjoyed the private balcony overlooking the river. Looks like the bathroom may have been updated recently. I did step into the bathroom with no socks/shoes on and got short hair on my feet almost like someone cut their hair in it, so I’m unsure of how often the place gets mopped adequately. That was a little disappointing. I made sure to wear socks/shoes after that. The location was great, far enough from the hustle and bustle/noise of downtown but still completely walkable.

We stayed at this property for 4 nights. Our room was large and clean, and the bed was very comfortable, however, the room is definitely dated and could use an overhaul. We found the area to be very quiet and we felt safe. It’s only about a 10 minute walk to the main strip in Gatlinburg which was great. Parking is free and they provide a few items for breakfast (biscuits, bagels, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juice etc.). We enjoyed our stay here and would return if the price was right.
