Very nice place to stay. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The location to town and to the national park was great. My kids enjoyed the tv in the bedroom. The views were great! Perfect for our family to relax in after a great day exploring.

Great condo in the Smokey Mountains.
My daughters and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Chalet Village. Plenty of room for 4 people; close to Smokey Mountain National Park and downtown Gatlinburg attractions; it was an excellent value. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Gatlinburg and would recommend it to others as well.

My family stayed here for fall break. It was SO CLEAN and everything was pretty and soft and decorated for all. We loved it! The view up and down the mountain each day was fantastic--but be aware there are some SUPER tight squeezes if other cars are coming. Absolutely do NOT take Upper or Lower Apline Rd even if your GPS suggests it. It's barely wide enough for 1 car. Everything about the room is wonderful except for the noise overhead. There is no sound barrier between this condo and the one above it. We could hear their TV at night, people walking/talking. The bed we slept in was SO comfortable but I didn't get good sleep because of the noise during the night (I'm assuming bathroom?) That being said, it wouldn't deter me from staying there again but I would probably bring some sort of sleep aid so I could sleep through the noise.

The property owner was absolutely wonderful and quick with responding! The house was beautiful and the location was perfect! It was especially a wonderful place because it was located on the ground floor! For someone who has bad knees, I gratefully appreciated this!

Directions to the condo were easy to follow. Upon arrival we were able to check in with no issues. Roads were clear and it was easy getting in and out. Parking was great as we didn’t have to fight for a space. (A lot of cabins up here you do. Not this one) the place was clean and updated. Stocked with what you need and then some. Service isn’t all that great but they do have a house phone which makes it wonderful and there was no need to panic. Very romantic. It’s near the lodge so we will be coming back when there is snow. Views are wonderful and the host are amazing.

Cute place! Drive up the mountain was pretty. Appeared as if everything I would’ve needed was available in the unit. However I had an issue with the balcony door not latching or locking. Owner was polite when I spoke to him but I didn’t feel safe staying in a unit that I couldn’t secure.

This is a beautiful condo. Extremely comfortable beds. I appreciate twin beds in the second bedroom for my kids. TVs have all the streaming services. Great wifi. Location is fantastic - down to the strip in less than 10 minutes.

This condo was perfect for what we needed. We cooked breakfast every morning. We went out during the day and hung out there in the evenings. There were 9 bears around the condo for viewing. They never bothered us. We would stay again.

Girls weekend
This condo worked well for a long weekend with the girls. It is furnished well with comfortable furniture. The single beds in the one bedroom worked well for us since we had 3 of us. This property is in building 3 which is right next to the pool. There was a mama bear and 2 cubs that we saw every morning from the balcony, that was neat to see. The downfalls of this property is the distance from the Gatlinburg strip, which actually wouldn’t have been too bad if there were better roads. The roads were wet one of the times we were heading back up to the condo and there were a few places that I was unsure about making it up the hill and I have a new van. As for the building, a loading zone of some sort would be nice. Also you have to go down steps from the parking lot to get in the building, and then if you aren’t on the first floor you have to use the steps to get to the second and third floors. The unit itself is slightly more dated than the photos lead you to believe but like I said it was comfortable. Overall we had a great stay. I would recommend this to others if they aren’t planning on going back and forth to town a lot

The place was nice couldn’t have been happier with the comfort of the condo. The only downfall is the upstairs people stomped on the floors and opened and slammed patio door a lot until after midnight the last 2 nights we were there so not everyone respects the 9pm quite time.

Amazing location
The drive up the mountain to the property is beautiful. The property is in an amazing location with great views. The home was very nice and clean the beds were comfy. We could watch bears playing in the grass off of the balcony several times daily which was just awesome. It is a very short drive to downtown and local pizza shop. Loved it!

Worst experience ever.
Condo was not conducive for Senior Citizens. Too many steps and unit was misrepresented in size. Any Senior who checks this unit, should be warned it is not good if you have any disabilities. Called owner to tell him we were leaving after one night and asked for a partial refund and was denied. Not acceptable. Will never recommend VRBO to anyone.

Arrive During Daylight
This condo is nice for a place to land between your daily activities. As we are not from a mountainous area of the country, we wished we would’ve arrived during daylight, especially on our first day. It was dark, rainy, & foggy and the journey up to the condo was a bit frightening as we wove our way through the mountains, narrow roads with steep inclines and drop offs. Otherwise, we found the condo comfortable. It was clean overall. You might want to bring a few extra towels as there is no laundry in the condo itself and only a few washcloths are provided for the duration of our stay. Most appliances are older but function well. Overall, this was a positive experience. We even saw a few bears up close but within a safe distance.

Great location, clean condo, noisy neighbors
This place was perfect size for my family. I was traveling with my husband and three children ages 5yo, 3yo, and 3 months old. The indoor pool was closed but the outdoor pool is heated so the kids loved it. As previous reviews said the walls are very thin so we could hear the people upstairs walking around and the neighbors playing music until very late at night. The owner Jim was very quick to respond to texts however the primary contact you’re given when you book (Kelsey) did not reply to a text I sent prior to arriving at the property. I wanted to know if there was a pack and play located on site since traveling with and infant and I could t get an answer - for those of you wondering the day thing, no there is not. The location is close to the National park and to Gatlinburg but located at the top of the mountain so just be prepared for the steep climb. Condo was clean and kitchen was small but had everything you need for cooking. Overall we had a nice stay at this condo, I’d recommend it but I would suggest bringing along a white noise machine to drown out the sound of the neighbors.

Very nice place to stay. All necessities were furnished which was a nice surprise.
Getting to and from the property took some getting used to. Very high on the mountain and very curvy roads with drop offs. Saw bears in the road on the first approach to the property therefore did not walk the neighborhood. Overall nice place to stay.
