I enjoyed my stay at Sidney James Mountain Lodge. So much, We stayed another day and night. hope to return again real soon! thank you, April was a peach! very pleasant, the indoor pool and hot tub, was the deal maker for me, After we arrived and went to the suite, well, it was relaxing , warm and cozy. the fireplace in the suite was nice. will not stay anywhere else when I come to Gatlinburg, pigeon forge.

We found the Sidney James Mountain Lodge to be a comfortable stay for a reasonable price. We loved the quiet location and that our room faced the creek, giving us the soothing sound of running water. We appreciated the free on-site parking and the trolley service right to and from the hotel. We enjoyed an evening in the indoor pool. The poolside cafe provided us dinner one evening and breakfast one morning and was tasty and affordable. In all, we enjoyed our visit and look forward to staying there again!

This has been my go to place to stay when I visit Gatlinburg, which is usually 2 or 3 times a year. It is off the main strip so as to avoid all the noise and commotion but there is a free trolley stop at the lobby so getting back and forth is easy. I have been using the Sidney James for many years now and it is generally in decent condition despite its age. But this visit was quite different. I was in room 106 from 24 December to 27 December 2025 and found this room to be in terrible condition. There were 3 long black hairs in the tub/shower area, 2 stuck to the wall. There were dents in the walls, no microwave, windows were dirty, and other issues that should not have been in a room rented to the public.
