The stay was good the motel where we stayed is where we usually stay in Gatlinburg Tennessee. We will go back and start there again.
It was a very nice place to stay. Was within walking distance. In the evenings while relaxing on the balcony was able to see nature and had the chance to see a few black bears.
Hotel was close to everything, beds were comfortable, and the stream right outside of our room was beautiful. Only downside was the floors weren’t the cleanest, but everything else was fine. The reviews about the bears are true however you are in the home of the bears. If you go to Gatlinburg be prepared to see bears, don’t let the other reviews of the bears scare you away. The hotel was pretty nice for the price.

As always, Bear Creek Inn delivered! My favorite thing about Gatlinburg is the bears and they were beautiful and up close this time! The beds are super comfy, the staff knows me, and there is nothing negative I can say about this little hidden gem.
Peaple above us were smoking on the balconey and ashes wre dropping onto our balconey. No clean towels were left the next day and the coffee was not replaced for the next morning. After about 5 o'clock there was no one in the office to ask for toweels or coffee.
The Creek behind the hotel was wonderful. We really enjoyed setting on the balcony drinking coffee and listening to the creek run. There were several restaurants close by and everything was in walking distance. We will definitely stay again.
Had a Bear get in back of my truck and destroy brand new cooler!! Staff acted like no big deal. Also done heavy damage to a Suv on driver side . One lady took pictures of bear walking on second floor balcony and even filed police report!!
The hotel manager Greg B refused to give me his senior boss’s email, stating his manager lives out of state so he couldn’t give me an email - which makes no sense. I had very serious concerns regarding the behavior and lack of professionalism with the Hotel Manager. I was concerned he would enter our room in the middle of the night after being threatening. In addition, Black Bears are very comfortable at this property and walk up all the stairs to each floor, and are roam the property daily. The Hotel staff doesn’t acknowledge the bears being present, nor do they provide any bear safety information. The Bear Creek Inn is the only hotel property in Gatlinburg you will find horrible bear safety practices. This bear will most likely have to be put down due to the negligence of this staff. Horrid.

The creek running along the back of the hotel was beautiful. The office was closed upon arrival, and it was loud throughout the night as drunk people returned to their rooms.
Bed was not comfortable. Spider webs on the balcony. Floor in bathroom and room was dirty. Creek was nice to listen to.

Not too bad
Seeing the creek was amazing it rained our whole stay seeing the water rise was loud and comforting. The bed and pillows were to soft for my bed not for me. There were webs everywhere just need to dust and mop. Not a bad stay overall.

Needs some TLC
The room was sufficient for our stay however the hotel is somewhat outdated. It is in need of some new paint, flooring and needs color. The beds were pretty comfortable but we had queen size beds but were definitely more like full size. One added bonus though was that we were visited each night of our stay by black bears.

Disliked: Amenities
Rooms were dirty and dusty. Especially the floors- Wear socks or the soles of your feet will be black!
Rules to stay were given after check in. They only provide 2 towels per day. Toilet paper, and essentials are the responsibility of guest! INever heard of such!
Night traffic in parking lot is quite suspicious. Beautiful hotels in the area for same price- Do your research
