Me and my girlfriend and some friends went to the Ameristar and gambled and stayed the night and it was a great time. The room was very nice and clean and the hospitality was excellent. The employees were very friendly and took very good care of us.

Not satisfied with this resort
The room was very worn. The leather looking headboard on the bed had a big patch missing. The carpet was frayed at the front. The temp of the room was poorly regulated. We've from very cold to very hot back to very cold with no touching of the thermostat. Service in the Fireside restaurant was atrocious, and the food was not worth the price. Had dinner on Friday night and the taco salad was very salty and the Philly cheese dip was awful greasy. Tried to get a breakfast sandwich to go on Saturday morning. After 30 minutes they told me the chef doesn't like to go orders so it would be at least 25 more minutes. I told then of that was the case refund my money and cancel the order. I was then told they could not refund the $3 to go charge. The front desk of the hotel have me that back when I complained.

Great time great service
We always go up for one night about once a month. Rooms are very comfy. The staff is exceptional. The timberline grill is a favorite of ours. I like that i dont need to leave they have all the fun games.

I took my daughter to the Ameristar for one night to celebrate her 21st birthday. I accidentally made our room reservation for the day after we arrived. I didn't realize the mistake until I tried to check in. Jill at the front desk was AMAZING and shifted everything over without any issues. I truly appreciated her kindness in the face of what could have been a disaster! The room was impeccable, and the spa services were so relaxing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a getaway!

The rooms looked very nice and clean. Some of the mattresses need to be updated. One mattress was sunk in and not too comfortable to sleep on. You had to sleep on one side or the other and not in the middle to get a good nights sleep. Glad we had 2 beds in our room!
