Great, quirky hotel south of the Grote Markt by about a 10 minute walk. The room was no more than a very small bedroom, but fine for our use. Despite the size there was a closet and a small desk. The bathroom was really nice, fully updated and modern, with a shower stall (no tub). The innkeeper told us that a shortcut to our room was afforded through the Irish pub next door (fully accepted by the pub, just walk on through - or stop for food and drink... Fantastic food there by the way, and a fine Belgian beer selection, not just Irish ones!)
If you want the standard lobby-hallway-generic room of modern hotels forget this one. There are stairs only as far as I know, and room size could be issues for some. But if character, quirks and a decent price are alright with you, give it a go!
