Stayed here several times always easy to park and rooms good standard. Staff at bar and restaurant incredibly understaffed. Food was ok but not its usual excellent...pudding was overcooked and tough would have mentioned to staff but only one guy at bar with q a mile long so didnt.

The team called me earlier in the day to check I was on track to arrive in the evening. I confirmed I was - I had prepaid almost £200. When I arrived, there was a long queue at the check in, only to be told when I got to the front they were overbooked and my booking had been transferred to the Hilton. Overbooking with prepayment is not acceptable nor is calling me early but not letting me know what the problem was. The Hilton was decent and the staff were great but I would not recommend the village based on this experience.

Staff could be a little more attentive to customers. Pool and gym are always crowded as it’s not exclusive fly for the use of hotel guests but open to genera public. Other than the science museum there is not much to do around that area. Overall the experience was OK
