This hotel could be fantastic, but there are some issues that significantly detracted from my stay.
The "laptop work area" is a joke - it's a pull-out shelf on the bedside table. There is no chair, only a slightly wobbly stool. But even worse than any of that, the lights in the room are on a motion sensor and they automatically turn off after some 15 or so minutes. Sitting and working on a laptop, or sitting in bed working on a laptop or watching TV, does not provide enough movement to keep the lights on. When I asked the front desk if there is anything they can do to change the settings during my stay, I was told no. I stayed at this hotel for two weeks, and chose it specifically because I needed the ability to work on my laptop, so this was a very significant problem for me, and prevented me from doing work while I was there.
There is an issue with the shower's seal - I never bothered figuring out the exact cause, but I think the lack of seal at the bottom of the door allowed water to run off the edge, which got on the carpet. This meant the carpet by the corner of the shower was soaked with water for most of my stay, despite trying a few different ways of setting a towel in the corner to absorb the water before it could reach the carpet. I can only imagine what kind of mold issues this would cause over time. The water would also sometimes run into the edge of the toilet area.
