Perfect all round. Staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was first class plenty of choice everything well cooked. Will definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends. Thank you.
I like the Victorian tranquillity and character of the Hotel. Also, we loved the views and peaceful setting. The bar was nice with friendly helpful staff and good entertainment. The breakfast was excellent, with very good choices.
We had a peaceful stay in this grand hotel on the edge of Grange-over-Sands. Easy walk into the town along the seashore Promenade. Staff were very friendly and helpful in storing our pedal bicycles securely overnight. Good buffet breakfast to set us up for outdoor activities.
We needed accomodation for work so it was just what we needed

Hotel is somewhat dated and is used by coach tour companies. The decor is tired but the bathrooms are clean and the bedroom linen and towels all fresh and clean. Lovely views from the bedrooms at the back of the property and lots of parking. Hotel is situated in woodland set back from the road.
This really is a “Grand” hotel. It is in a lovely setting with beautiful grounds. The building is old but impressive, I would love to go to a wedding or function there as it is a lovely setting. The staff were very pleasant and professional. The food was quite satisfactory and filling. The drinks are not overpriced unlike other isolated places we have been to. We will return.

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Out dated and staff not bothered about being there.
Location was lovely, and was reasonably priced.
The state of the hotel was very poor, although it was obvious that the hotel had once been a beautiful impressive building. The room was dirty, the radiator was hanging off the wall, mould in the shower. The curtains were really difficult to shut and threadbare as we're the drapes in the dining room. There were dead flies and insects on the window sills around the corridors. The staff on reception and at breakfast were very pleasant and professional.Overall the hotel was certainly not up to standard for the price we paid.It was to celebrate my birthday and we were very disappointed.
A fantastic stay from the minute I booked in to the time I handed my key back, all the staff were so friendly and polite, nothing was too much for them and as for the room upgrade that was something I wasn’t expecting but most welcome. All in all a wonderful stay.
Staff very friendly and helpful the hotel and grounds in a beautiful setting
Room was really lovely and very clean
Lovely place to stay and as a lone traveller felt very safe
We rang in the evening to confirm we could check in very late as we would be arriving at approx 1am following a wedding. We were told that it wasn’t a problem as there is always someone on the desk. Arrived at the hotel and no one was around so we weren’t able to check in and had to sleep in our car.
