The heat was off in December?
The heat was off in our room in December and we had to get maintenance to come get it on. It was 53 in our room when we checked in with a 3 yr aol at 9 pm at night.

The pool and hot tub were broke again. The room was spotless but the temp at arrival was 61f took half hour to warm up...staff was exceptionally polite

This was one strange hotel. From check-in to everything in between it was like everyone was "in training". When I checked in I was told something different than what happened about dining reservations and my room. When questions arose, each person blamed the prior or next and told me all about their frustration. Then, my room got crazy hot -- 80 degrees -- and someone had to come to my room and get INTO THE CEILING ON A LADDER to change it. He proceeded to tell me it is basically his f/t job because the thermostats don't work. Once he changed up my room, it then got to 60 degrees. The entire experience was like I was in the twilight zone. My room -- other than the heat and immense cold, however, was really nice.

Outdated but well-maintained hotel and very pretty too. The room is spacious. The bed is a little bit too soft for me and the towels are kind of rough. No microwave in the room. Overall, it is a pleasant stay!

Missed the mark
Cons: Pool was not operational and some kids pulled the fire alarm at 11 pm. Hotel is starting to show its age with poorly completed repairs. For instance, a rubber strip on the floor between the bedroom and bathroom was fixed in place with a screw in room 289, but that screw has popped out of place leaving a potential danger for someone to step on it. Pros: Staff was super attentive. They delivered a coffee cup with a smile soon after we requested an additional cup. The salmon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado sandwich at the restaurant was delicious and fairly priced.
