Would not recommend. Left early.
Room was dirty, beds are hard the elevator was not working. Aliding doors on entery had to be opened and closed manually. The pool was down. We had a terrible experience.

It would have been convenient to be advised at booking or check-in that the elevators have not been working for over a year and we were booked on the third floor. I use a cane due to balance issues and would not have stayed there if we had known. We arrived late and felt we had to stay! We used to stay there frequently when it was a Best Western and enjoyed our stays. Never again!

We were welcomed with a pile of feces on the stairway leading to our room immediately after check in. It dripped down several stairs and appeared to have not recently occurred. When my husband reported it to the front desk staff they seemed unsurprised/disinterested asking "Is it dog?" then eventually "I guess we can call maintenance."

Couple's last minute get away
What can I say. I think this hotel has the best view in Ocean Shores. I woke up to the ocean and beautiful dunes. With that being said, it's pretty dated and really needs more than just a refresh It truly needs an overhaul. Very early 90s vibe and not intentionally I don't think. The people working there are so nice, but when you have to sign a waiver not to open the sleeper sofa, because it's broken, isn't a good first impression. Also, the pool and elevator are broken. The room was super clean and the carpeting was newish, but the stairwells (which we had to take each time we wanted to go to our room) were pretty dirty and I saw elderly people trying to get up the stairs and it wasn't pretty. Good breakfast scene and the lady working it was really nice. The people working were great. This hotel could be just a little more awesome if everything was working. But the view! Amazing!

The room was clean and well maintained and the free buffet breakfast was outstanding. The front desk service was terrible. I arrived around noon and was told the room was not ready as check-in was 4PM, but they would call me when ready. No call so I came back at 3:20 pm to the response "Not ready, come back closer to 4pm." I came back at 4:30 pm and was told it would be another 2 hours. When I complained, she told me check-in starts at 4pm, not guaranteed to get in at 4pm. Finally a supervisor stepped in and gave me a room that had been cleaned. Will not stay here again.

The location of the motel to the ocean and restaurants was excellent. But the motel is old and smelled dirty. It could use a renovation. Elevator was broken and several fixtures within in the room were old and broken. Customer service was great with great staff!

BEWARE: NOT AS ADVERTISED
I booked this stay for 3 reasons: Updated pool, full ocean view, and jetted tub in room. NONE of these things were as advertised. The pool was closed. It was listed as open on the website. I even received an email stating it would be open by the 14th of Aug. I originally had booked the 14-16 but changed to 15-17 to be sure. I was informed upon arrival that they were not sure when it would reopen. Strike 1! We were then told that we couldn't run the jets in the tub in the room after 10 pm. I've stayed in many rooms with jetted tubs and have never been told that. They said it's too loud and would disturb others. Well if that is the case that should have been advertised in bold letters somewhere when I booked. Strike 2! We finished checking in and asked to speak to supervisor. Her name was Tammy. She said I could just cancel the stay at this point but it was already after 4pm and I didn't want to hassle getting another place (big mistake). When we arrived in the room there was pubic hair on toilet seat. We opened the curtains and the sliding doors were so dirty we couldn't see out of them. We tried cleaning but it was inside the pane. So, there goes the full ocean view since there was also no screen so we couldn't just leave a door open. Strike 3! Once out on the deck the view is very spectacular. I wish we could have enjoyed that more. The dust on heaters was awful so we didn't attempt them. Bed was uncomfortable. We were given $80 of $460 back. Worst hotel experience ever!

There was no internet. I wrnt to the front desk and asked about it several times. Nothing worked. There was a screen not on in the window. We tried to put it in but no matter which way we tried it simply did not fit. Food was great and the room was clean and comfy.

Loved the property & staff. Although I prefer higher level view rooms, we brought our dog with us, so had a first floor room. We were pleasantly surprised by the nice spacious room!!! What ruined our stay was the dog in the room next to us barking in distress while their owners were gone!! Very annoying & felt so sorry for the dog! Then we were awoken in the middle of the night with some drunk people in the room above us! Ugh!

The room was not ready an hour after check-in. The first woman was not friendly, but the Second Lady was very nice and helpful. Accommodations were just ok for the money. No direct beach access.
