I was first assigned a room with no air conditioning, I called reception and told them the issue with no resolve, I called a second time and after about an hour someone finally came to try to find out the issue. The maintenance guy was able to get it to work after he said he added ice to the generator. That same night there were a lot of noise outside my room at 11:50pm, people talking and vacuuming. I reported this to reception via message but they gaslighted me saying that wasn’t possible. This morning I went to reception with my complaints since I couldn’t sleep at all due to the constant noise and stuffy room. I asked to have a room change but it was denied. The receptionist stated I would only be allowed a room change if I paid for it. There was never an apology or intent to try to remedy the situation. I decided to reach out to Expedia since I was going nowhere with the Hotel. Thanks to Expedia’s customer service I was finally able to get a room change, when I returned to the hotel the receptionist tried to act like the conversation with Expedia didn’t happen, luckily I had screenshots. The new room I was given came with new issues…the electrical breaker kept on tripping when I was finally able to turn the air on, the shower head almost fell on my head, water leaking everywhere! I demand a refund, this hotel is falling to pieces!!
