***The Knee wall project will begin at Catalina September 9th, 2024 and is expected through the end of March 2025. Knee wall is defined as the "North facing" wall (of the hallways). Expect noise and dust. The building entrance may be temporarily blocked or limited from vehicle access, underneath the porte cochere. Additional handicapped parking spots have been temporarily added in the middle aisles, directly in front of the stairs. Work hours are from Monday - Saturday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.***

The Beach Club C-509 is a one-bedroom, 1.5-bath condo on the 5th floor of Catalina Tower. It offers incredible Gulf-front views!

• Access to the balcony from the living room.

• The unit is tiled throughout

• The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need in your home away from home. The dining room table seats four, and there are two bar stools for additional seating.

• Washer and dryer in the unit.

• The primary bedroom has a queen-size bed

• There is a set of twin bunk beds built into the alcove in the hallway. *Children six years or younger should not be permitted on the top bunk.

**This unit does not have access to the Clubhouse amenities. Guests can access the outdoor tower pools, hot tub, tennis courts, and food trucks without using the clubhouse.

• No waiting in long lines for check-in or check-out with keyless entry!

• Parking passes are $42.00/each, plus tax. Visitor passes can be issued for $7.00/per day for non-renting guests to use the spa and visit the shops and restaurants. Two parking passes are automatically applied to reservations. If you have a different number of vehicles, notify the office to apply the correct number of parking passes to the reservation. Registration information will be needed for each vehicle before it will be allowed on the property.

$400 FREE Activities Daily-Guests will receive one complimentary admission to our select activities per day. You can go to every one of these activities every day, and one person will be free per day. Additional guests will pay full price. Admissions are non-cumulative and non-transferable. Unused admissions expire daily.

So yes, you may choose to go fishing in the morning (one person is free), then golf at lunch (one person is free), and then go to the zoo that afternoon (one person is free). Or you may choose to go to the zoo in the morning with the kids (one person is free), and your husband can play golf (one person is free) and then meet that afternoon to go on the dolphin cruise (one person is free.) You may do some or all of these select activities every day, and one of your parties is free every day.

These activities are yours to use if you choose to do so at no additional cost or obligation.

Catalina Condo Beach Club

The property was immaculate. The unit had everything in it we needed. However there wasn't enough seating. There was only one couch and no chairs. A family of four would not have enough seats to watch tv. The hot water heater tripped out too. We figured it out and turned it on again . All in all we would stay here again.

A plethora of problems

1. Freezer cycled from defrost to freeze constantly. Had to bring in a mini fridge after some frozen meals got spoiled. 2. No hot water for days at a time as circuit breaker kept tripping, even after a short was repaired & then the breaker replaced. Obviously the problem has not been found. 3. The cable system in the LR would drop channels on a whim.The co. was no help so I figured out how to re-down load them which I had to do many times because the total # available varied from 74 to 102. Never could get ABC. 4. Getting on the internet was always a problem, either it would freeze while on it or it wouldn't even start. A constant time waster of trying to get an online connection. I have used VRBO many times to stay at the beach club with excellent service & amenities but this condo really needs a do over to bring it up to a livable level. I would certainly never stay in it again.

The unit had a stand for toilet paper but no toilet paper holder in either bathroom. No hand soap in two bathrooms. The toilet in the half bathroom ran constantly. Could not enjoy the balcony due to others smoking on their balcony. The couch was not cleaned well. Mildew stains on top outer sheet of bed. Other than those things we enjoyed it.

Trash Chute

This property is great! Away from Orange beach area! This condo , though, is located so the trash chute is @ 20 ft from the bedroom window. People throw their trash out at all hours of the night. We were awaken after midnight all but one night.

the place was neat and just right for two people. i wish there was more comfortable seating. Maybe a recliner, but the balcony was perfect to see the gulf. We were unfortunate that they were cleaning off the side walks with a pressure hose so we did not get to enjoy the sound of the waves. I know this was during the winter break so it was ok. would stay here again because it was quiet and had pools available. Great place.

Great location. Everything was great except we didn’t have start up toilet tissue, paper towels and trash bags as was advertised. We were prepared though and it didn’t bother us. Quite a bit of sand on the couch was a bit of a bother. Overall a nice place to get away.

Perfect for small family or couple

Our family of 4 had a fantastic and relaxing vacation at this condo. Perfectly sized with beach/ocean views. Easy and quick access to the beach. My 2 kids (7 y/o and 4 y/o) had a blast heading to the beach in the morning and swimming in the pool at night. Highly recommend. Still close to gulf shores but without overcrowding or excessive traffic. Excellent communication with property manager. Will definitely book again.

Weekend Get Away

What a perfect place for my husband and I for the weekend! This unit is just the right size and it had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was a great backdrop for our morning coffee and our evening wine. The unit was immaculate and it was probably the cleanest place we’ve ever rented. The pool and the grounds were very well kept also. I highly recommend this place for any couple!

Nice, clean condo

My husband and I stayed for a week. The condo was very clean and the resort was very nice but was disappointed that the pools that you can use were not heated so not really usable for adults in April. Also did not realize how far the resort was from Gulf Shores (12 miles into town) so was a bit of a drive to get to restaurant but the excellent view made it worth it.
