The pool area was great - my daughter became aquatic. Food decent though service sometimes a bit hit and miss - wrong items or missing cutlery. Nothing that wasn't easily fixed. Room big and clean, some of the fixtures looked a bit old but the wear and tear is expected in this climate - wood blown etc. Staff were all lovely and we had the greateat time. We would come back if we get the chance and stay here again.

Third stay during this trip room this time was run down, curtains had holes in them, outdoor setting about to fall apart. Shower in the bath needs a non slip mat.

We loved our time at Novotel Cairns
We loved out stay at Cairns Novotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was neat and clean. A highlight was the pool. Our kids loved it. The beach section is such a great feature. If I can flaw a couple of things which are ts hugely major they would be the birds on the outdoor area. We ordered food which was delivered to our table which we weren’t at at the time, the pigeons got to it before we did and made a lovely mess as they devoured our food. Thankfully it was replaced for us. My other issue is the fragrance in the main foyer area. It’s quite powerful and I could even small it outside. Overall a really great stay. If we’re ever able we will be back.
