Wonderful Family Vacation
The house was great for our group of 12. Had a very small issue, but the response was immediate. Great customer service. We really enjoyed the house. The location is great. We would definitely stay here again. There are a few issues, but that is because it is an older house. If you have any issues, just let them know and they will send someone out in a short time. Wonderful vacation experience.

We had another fabulous stay at the Montego. The house has everything you need along with the convenience of having the beach as your backyard. The property owners were wonderful. We had a computer snag when payment was due and they handled it promptly and professionally. This is our second time visiting and we will be back!

Love this house!
14 years in annual moms and kids' vacay same week of the year but first time staying at this house (we are not hangout fest people but just navigate around it lol). Montego was perfect! Just as advertised, so clean, everything worked perfectly (even the dryer which is a golden Easter egg for any rental 😃 iykyk). The decor and furnishings were awesome...the owners definitely put care into this house! The deck is amazing with comfortable and well kept seating for all! Kitchen so well stocked (we cook the majority of our meals). Recommend 100% and hopefully can book next year!

Two families shared this place for a softball tournament at the end of the week and lots of beach time the beginning of the week. 4 adults and 5 children. Well-stocked kitchen. Very roomy and best of all the beach is your backyard!

This house is perfect for a group and perfectly situated on the beach. Walk right out the spacious deck to the sand and enjoy the day. Comfy beds and room to spread out.

The views of peace
This is our second year at this property. The view and porch setting is Devine. Hopefully it’s time for some serious upgrades. We had to plug in the tv and set it up so we could watch it. Thankfully we brought batteries because there was none for the main remote. The master shower doesn’t drain well. The refrigerator leaked water. The house just needs a lot of TLC. We had a great time with family and love Gulf Shores.

A few small things, overall would recommend!
Our stay was very enjoyable. Very close to the beach and not crowded. I would recommend that you mention to future tenants there are only 3 towels per bathroom, and no extra toilet paper is provided. Everything was very clean when we got there. We had a problem with the fridge. They sent maintenance very quickly. Everything was very enjoyable and a great price.

Loved the house and especially the back porches. Couple of things need fixing: door in third bathroom drags on floor-hard to get in and out; ceiling fan in third bedroom not operational making the room stuffy; AC not able to cool whole house properly; refrigerator leaks; had only one kitchen towel. Sorry to complain just hope these items will be corrected for future guests. Some good things were: Great assortment of dishes, pots and pans, bathroom towels, bedrooms are nice size and beds and pillows were comfortable, and did I say we loved the back porch and deck. Overall, we had a great time!!!!

Great beach location
The outside deck is great and really large and it has great outside furniture. Just a few steps to the beach -- so close! This house is older so much of it inside is outdated, but some of it is renovated like the kitchen. Kitchen is well stocked.. Smaller house but plenty of room for the four of us. Has its own charm-- built in 1974 so it's going to have some older features. Owner has done well at updating. No beach chairs or umbrellas so be sure to bring your own.

Great location and view
Was a great time. There’s little prickle things outside that get stuck in your feet and in the house. Had a lot of cooking supplies! There’s several holes in the wall and there’s obvious wear and tear, but for the price and location was a great time. The rental staff checked in several times!

I would say the overall experience was great! For the price you pay it is worth it. It definitely needs some TLC. Dripping sink in bathroom, dishwasher super loose and walls needs come repairs. But the deck is the best!! We loved on it all week. Beds were super comfy. Everyone had their own bathroom which was lovely. The kitchen was so spacious! It had just about everything. I would suggest some kitchen scissors and pens and such. We would definitely stay here again for sure!! Thank you.

It was a dream property! Very close to the beach. Everything we hoped for in a vactiom
We loved the house! It might need to have a few more staples such as trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap, and stuff like that in the house but overall it was wonderful. Perfect for our family. Access to the beach was super close. The deck and outdoor furniture were dreamy. We will most defiantly will rent this property in the future.

Amazing Place to Stay
Huge house with plenty of space! Each bedroom does have it's own bathroom connected to it but the bedroom with the queen bed the bathroom can be accessed with from the bedroom or the hallway. The master bedroom has a bathroom with a tub and a stand up shower so technically there are 4 showers in the house. There is a closet full of chairs and beach umbrellas that you can use so you really don't even need to take your own. We had 8 people staying in the house and didn't have to use any of the chairs or beach stuff we brought because everything we needed was already there! The kitchen is stocked with dishes and very spacious! I would have to say by far the best part of the house is the back porch/deck! It is so big and the set up is perfect! Part of the porch is covered and part is uncover and there are plenty of tables and chairs! And the view is beyond AMAZING! It's so peaceful to just sit on the back porch and listen to the water and enjoy the breeze under the covered part of the deck! It was so relaxing I actually fell asleep sitting out there the 1st night we stayed there! The only thing I wasn't happy with is the outside shower didn't work but there is a water hose not as good as an outside shower but it gets the job done. Not only do you have the little walk way to the beach but you also have sand right off the back porch perfect place for the kids to play while cooking out or just hanging out on the back porch. We set up our stuff on the beach around 8am every morning and left it there until 8-9pm every night no one ever bothered any of it! I would definitely recommended this house to anyone and if we ever go back to Gulf Shores I would definitely want to stay in the house again!

Great space for a family
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Montego! I agree with the reviews concerning needed improvements/upgrades to the property but I disagree with taking away stars from the review. The listing accurately shows what the property looks like and the price is cheaper than the other houses in the same area so we knew going into it what we were getting. We knowingly chose a dated property in exchange for the reduced price and convenience to the beach. The house was clean and a very short walk to the beach. Our stay was a busy holiday weekend but the private beach was not crowded and left us with plenty of space to ourselves. The deck was absolutely amazing! Plenty of comfortable chairs and tables with a beautiful view of the ocean. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with the necessary cups and utensils for our stay. We will definitely stay again!

Great location
The house was right on the beach and everything we had hoped for. It’s listed for 12 people, but there are only enough beds for 10, so I guess there was a sleeper sofa. We didn’t need it though, so it didn’t matter to us, but it might to someone. The house was clean and had everything we needed. I will recommend it to friends and stay there again if I get to go back.

great vacation!
Nice house, a few minor maintenance issues need to be fixed, door knob, and door facing need some attention. Overall the house is very nice! Would highly recommend staying there, one other issue we had was there was miscommunication on checking in, couldn't seem to get no one to send door pass code but the lady with liquid life finally got it to us, she was very nice and considerate.
