That highway is home to Waterville USA, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Tiki's Mini Golf, Pirate's Island Adventure Golf, and a wealth of other fun attractions. Gulf State Park, with its tranquil nature paths and fishing pier, is half a mile east. Also within walking distance are Sea-N-Suds, The Hangout Gulf Shores, and several great shops and other restaurants. The location was great. The facility overall was nice and enjoyable, however, the condo itself was tiny! Please read the info on square footage carefully. The listing says that you can sleep 8. We had 2 adults, 3 teenagers and 1 child (all average sized people, no one over 165#). We were stepping all over each other and didn't have room for any extra beach gear. Everything that we needed was there and the unit was very clean. The balcony was actually quit roomy. The space was just not nearly big enough for a comfortable stay if you are all in the room at the same time doing anything other than sleeping. Just hope you don't get rained off of the beach....
