Got settled in our room and stepped on a nail sticking through where the carpet was torn. I went to call the front desk and realized most of the buttons were missing off the room phone. I went to the front desk to report the issues and never saw maintenance in the three days there. While I was at the front dedk I also requested additional towels, and after two hours waiting, as we were on our way to dinner I stopped by the front desk and again requested towels, after we returned from dinner they arrived two hours later. The one redeeming portion of the hotel was a good breakfast. We travel a lot and usually stay with Hampton whenever possible, but this one needs a real management overhaul.

Great place
The room is very nice and comfortable. We did appreciate that is was dog friendly. The staff were especially nice. We had a problem after hours and Sonia from housekeeping was especially friendly and helpful.The only negative was that breakfast didn't vary much. We are close to many activities and restaurants.

The property was great. View was peaceful. The breakfast area was clean and a filling breakfast to start the day. The only problem I had was Expedia had been paid at booking then Hotel took it out again the day I arrived and had $600 tied up until I returned home.

The pot hotel
We really like this resort and have stayed here often but this trip was overshadowed by the amount of pot smoke that penetrated the hallways and we could not enjoy our balcony at all because the people below us and on the side of us were constantly smoking pot. When we complained to the front desk they did nothing about it.

The hotel was amazing with the beach just a small walk away from the guest service area. The pool was well maintained. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. The only complaint is my daughter didn't like all of the breakfast offered but the rest of us thought it was fine.

I live in Mobile and wanted to take our family to the beach for the day. This property supplied us with our desires for a balcony view of the beach, included breakfast in the morning, and many amenities. The price was very fair, and we enjoyed our stay, but it was not long enough. I would look to use this property in the future.
