This was my first vacation in 13 years and my first weekend at any beach. We wanted to make it extra special and stay at a Hilton for luxury instead of a cheaper, lower end hotel. The amount of disappointment in our stay made me wish we would have stayed at a lower end, cheaper hotel. Our entire stay we had no Wi-Fi and zero service in the room. Every day of our stay, the paper taped in the elevator changed the day the "Wi-Fi outage" occurred and when it would be fixed. It was never fixed. The cleanliness of the amenities was deplorable. There was so much scum in the hot tub that people had carved their names in it all the way around the hot tub, like a bathroom in a dive bar. The outdoor hot tub wasn't skimmed for our entire stay as we watched a straw and what looked like puke float on the top for our entire stay. There was mold and scum on the windows as well as the windows being extremely dirty. The tiki bar was closed on Saturday night and Sunday night. My husband and I really looked forward to being able to relax after a day at the beach and spend our evening in the hot tub with a mixed drink from the Tiki bar. Closed. The smell in our room was disgusting! It smelled like cat urine mixed with the Marijuana that filled the 6th floor entirely. The bath tub barely drained, the knob had to be pulled with mighty force to stop it from dripping, the walls in the bathroom were peeled back along the entire back wall, exposing mold. We had to call maintenance because the coffe

The staff was wonderful. The pool is very small and at night they put so much chlorine in it I could smell it from my balcony. The entire 2nd floor reeked of marijuana day and night. I have never stayed in a hotel at the beach, we always rent condos, so I suppose this may be par for the course.

The room was nasty. Floors were dirty. Carpet had stains and stinky. Our door wouldn’t lock. Smoke detector was hanging down. Bathroom floor was nasty. Had black hair in it. Shower head squatted water all over ceiling and got the floor soaking wet. And you they charge you 10 a night to park. And you’re staying there. Ice machine on 4th floor didn’t work. Do yourself a favor spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

We arrived shortly before Francine made landfall. We booked a “beach view” room, however the view from our original room was very limited. We were given a room on the 2nd floor and, like most beach front hotels, there is a large sand dune that nearly blocked the entire view. The entire facility is very humid (could have been due to Francine approaching) and smells musty because there is a lot of carpet in this hotel. It is mostly maintained but could definitely use some updates to make it nicer. On our second day the toilet clogged twice, the second time it flooded our bathroom and some of the carpet in our room. The maintenance man arrived immediately and kindly got us a new room on the 5th floor. This room was nicer and had a better view. They also gave us free breakfast for the inconvenience. The staff was wonderful, super nice and helpful but the facilities need updating. The pool area is not secured, anyone can just walk in thru the parking garage. The lobby and breakfast area offers no view of the beach like other hotels on the beach. If you are looking for a decent hotel at a decent price with great staff, this is a good choice.

The handle in the shower was broke and wouldn’t stay in the right spot to maintain temp. It fell to the extreme hot ir stayed put in the luke warm spot. There was a roach in the bathroom.

Lobby looked fine, only good thing. This doesn't meet the standard for a Hilton Garden. Parking lot too tight for full size car, halls dark, room dark, dirty and smelled. Balcony, that's a balcony? about 3 feet wide and directly facing the adjacent property feeling we were on display. the soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers glued to the shower wall (bring back the little bottles) all empty. We checked early and won't be back.
