Our Condo unit #366 is on the 3rd floor with wonderful views of the gulf! This complex is right on the beach. New master bathroom mattress and tiled walk in shower. One of the largest (1500 Ft.) fishing piers on the Gulf is within easy walking distance. Sea and Suds restaurant is one block away right on the water. The Hang Out restaurant and Gulf Shores largest public beach is within easy walking distance. Beach service (chairs and umbrellas) can be rented in season. Check in is 4:00 and Check out is 10:00. You have paid for one parking pass. Just ask for a 2nd pass if you need one. Your passes will be in the kitchen. During holiday weekends no more than one pass will be available.
Remodeled with granite countertops, new kitchen cabinets, tile floors, newly painted New full size washer/dryer, refrigerator and over stove microwave. New King bed in master and 1 full and one queen in the 2nd bedroom, Sleeps 6. Comfortable unit with new windows and balcony doors. 40" flat screen TV and DVD in living room. 32" flat screen TV in Master bedroom. 32' Flat screen TV and DVD in 2nd Bedroom.
Main balcony, family room and master Bedroom are right on the beach and have beautiful views of the Gulf. Pelicans and other diving birds can be seen regularly along with occasional dolphins.

On the ground level: Nice swimming pool and several charcoal grills. The patio area under the building is covered and has with wooden swings for reading, several tables, chairs for picnics or just relaxing when you want to get out of the sun.

On the beach, elevator access, gorgeous view
5 adults, 7 yr and 2 yr kid: King size bed was comfortable and we also found a mattress topper in storage. Plenty of pillows available. Both bathrooms were clean but no extra toilet paper/no toiletries so bring your own essentials. We also brought paper towels. There were a couple bath towels but plenty hand towels which I used to dry off the kiddos and as a bath mat. The shower was spacious but had a shower curtain instead of a door. Dishwasher, washer and dryer all were working properly and well maintained. No key entry made it easier for us to not have to keep track of a key. Just keep the code on your phone. The view was amazing. It’s an elevator ride down from the third floor to the beach with easy access. The gulf isn’t like the Atlantic and that the shore is short, there are postings to keep out of the dunes and be aware of turtles. The beach access has a place to hose off sand, making it easier to clean up. There’s a small pool but we didn’t use it. Something worth noting is that they have carts in the lobby area to help bring in your luggage, groceries or beach gear to your vehicle. That was a blessing so I could carry my 2 yr old around. This was a vacation with my family from Alaska, my mother from Myrtle beach and my husband/kids from Louisiana. We wanted to have a trip together and it was beautiful weather our entire trip. I’m thankful we were able to enjoy the beach together on a rare visit.

We did like the condo except for a few minor things. The rooms and balcony were super super small for 4 people. There was only 1 washcloth in the whole place and the pool was nasty and I did not really want my child swimming in it. On the other hand, the view was great, the room was clean, and it was quiet!

Great Condo
I was very pleased with our stay at this condo. The view from this condo was amazing!! Right on the beach so not a long walk. Restaurants and stores are within walking distance. Kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to cook simple meals. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Very Convenient Stay at Beach
Communication with Brandy and David was quick and appropriate. We were thrilled of the convenience to the beach. The 3rd floor location near the elevators was also helpful when going to the beach, car, or meals. The convenience to shops and eateries was wonderful. We timed our stay at the end of summer and it wasn’t overly crowded which was great for our family. They even accommodated us checking in an hour early which was a nice treat to get relaxed after our drive. Our only criticisms would’ve been supply of toilet paper, in complete fairness, they informed us that we should bring extra in the instance of low supply, but each bathroom only had one roll. We had forgotten ours but quickly realized that we would need to get to the store to get some for the week. The only other thing was that the elevator would smell pretty icky by the evening after everyone would be riding in it. I don’t fault our host for this in any way. Maybe HOA should include an middle day cleaning though to combat this. Overall, our stay with our children was an accommodating one. I would stay here again. Brandy and David were clear and helpful. We didn’t encounter any problems with anything requiring maintenance during our stay. Thanks for the memories!

Countertops had not been wiped down. Trash under beds. Master tub stopped up. Only 2 bath cloths. Towels stained. Only one bulb in master bath worked. You could only use one plug in each outlet in extra bedroom.

The property is not maintained
We were there for 7 days. The pool was cloudy and had hair floating in it, I didn't see it cleaned at all. Once there was a lays chip bag floating in it. It rained really hard on our 4th day and the hallway had dirty standing water till the day we left. In the condo there were dirty knives in the drawer and the butcher block and a broken glass in the cabinet. Only 1 light bulb in the living room light fixture. Every remote had low batteries. Some of the outlets didnt work. We found hair and some sort of prescription pill in the dresser drawer. The master bathroom shower when you turned on the shower the entire thing came away from the way and it never drained completely. Over all this was the most disappointing unclean room I have ever rented. We didnt contact anyone because we were unsure of whom to contact which is on us, but still even with that it is clear that whom ever maintains this property is missing the mark.

Great location
We love staying at Island Sunrise. It's a convenient location. While the condo was clean and all, the owner doesn't provide anything in regards to washing your hands, dishes, or extra paper towels. Also, when it rained Saturday night the master bedroom smelled like mildew. Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our stay. However, even though we were told to bring extra shampoo, conditioner, and toilet paper (which I highly recommend because the one ply isn't enough), there was no mention to bring dish soap to wash dishes that we were supposed to wash. It's the little things that get me. Especially since I stay in various condos in Island Sunrise 2-4 times a year.

Wonderful stay
The condo was clean and in a perfect location. The only complaint was that they were doing some kind of painting on the exterior of the building. The people painting wrapped the balcony in plastic to protect it but you couldn't enjoy the view if you were sitting. Nothing could be done about that but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless.

Love Island Sunrise. Coocoo Nest. Great beach. Great location. Very minor complaint on amenities and cleanliness of unit. No toilet tissue, no kleenex, no toiletries of any kind. Cleaning person must have very long black hair because it was all over in the bathrooms. We all have short blond or gray hair so we know it wasn't ours.
