This Gulf Shores Vacation Rental is a gulf front 2 bedroom 2 bath unit that sleeps 7. The master bedroom has a King with a semi private bathroom, the guest bedroom has a full and a Twin with a private bathroom and there is a Queen sofa in the living room. This Island Winds East unit offers a full kitchen for ease of cooking your own meals or if cooking is not in your vacation plans then you are in luck because you are also within walking distance to many of Gulf Shores finest restaurants. You also have a washer and dryer in this unit. You have an awesome view from your gulf front balcony of our Gulf Shores sugar white beaches, emerald green waters and the gulf front pool. If you enjoy cooking out there are several charcoal grills located just north of the pool. This is a prime location to be since you are only a few blocks from the main intersection at Hwy 59, especially if you are coming for The National Shrimp Festival or The Hangout Music Festival. FREE WIFI. This Gulf Shores Vacation Condo is located at 333 West Beach Blvd. This is a non-smoking, no pet unit. NO PETS! PARKING PASSES MUST BE PURCHASED USING THE PARKING PORTAL. Limit 1 vehicle per unit. No trailers.

Island Winds East has a new registration system for parking passes. The Property Manager will register your reservation and then you will receive an email to complete registration and pay for parking. Great location, great view
Location was excellent. Walking distance to The Hangout and shopping. The view from the balcony was awesome. The pool could have been a bit cleaner, but not too bad. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Family Beach Trip
Location is great - walking distance to The Hangout and the “main strip” right by public access beach and parking. We were only allowed ONE parking spot so we had to park our other family members car in a free public parking a few blocks away - we called to ask for an additional spot and I think there was some misunderstanding- because we didn’t get the spot. It’s fine, just annoying. Our unit was just like the video posted. I will say, they have the glass tables for eating, but also as a coffee table so as a mother with a 1yr old - I was nervous of the glass tables. Also - the washing machine didn’t work properly - I messaged the management, they said they would send maintenance…they never came by. All in all - we would stay again though.

Dated, but GREAT place. Enjoyed it!
You cannot beat the area. Period! You have to oay extra for parking, but then you may walk to stuff nearby. Pros: CLEAN! I checked the ceiling fans & vents for dirt or dust! Excellent when it comes to cleanliness. Location! You cannot get any better. New microwave and dishwasher. Stove & oven are perfectly acceptable. Fridge is older & the shelf in the freezer looks rusted, but all worked just fine. Air-conditioning worked great. Cons: Washing machine needs to be replaced. Yes, it washes, but it is so loud you cannot hear the television over the washing machine. When the washing cycle is done, the clothes are still dripping wet, but the dryer works very well. So if you put your wet clothes into the dryer, and set it on the longest timer, your clothes will dry. The bathroom in the master bedroom has a very slow draining tub and sink. Water will stand around your feet while you shower & water will sit in the sink. They do have satellite, but there is no streaming service provided. There is no place to hook up your own streaming device if you bring one to watch netflix, Amazon prime, hbo, etc. So you are stuck with satellite. The television in the master bedroom has a big scratch in it. It did not disturb my viewing, but it might be a distraction for others. There are slashes in a lamp shade in the master bedroom.

Amenities are horrible but location is incredible!
The unit immediately upon entry was very musty smelling. The textured ceiling in the kitchen was falling down with a huge piece on the floor upon entry. The door to the laundry room was unattached. The washer was EXTREMELY loud, leaked on the floor and didn't spin dry the clothes properly. Dishes were dirty. Main bathroom tub did not drain and was left with several inches of water after one shower. Pull out couch was extremely uncomfortable and we considered buying a blow up mattress for the floor. We didn't have any blankets but after notifying management they immediately brought us brand new ones. Master bedroom mattress is needing to be replaced. BUT the view was incredible and the porch was ideal. Location is ideal to beach and night life. If problems could be fixed it would be a wonderful place. We called before booking after reading reviews & were told all issues were resolved from previous reviews but clearly not. We will not be renting from here again.

The location was perfect. This isn't red carpet movie star hosting place. But, the location is top. It was perfect balance for my family with 2 teenagers. I would and am planning on a return trip!

Only one vehicle allowed!
Condo was clean but very outdated. Kitchen needs pots and pans. Island Winds West will sell you 2 parking passes but not Island Winds East! So if you rent a condo that sleeps 6-8 people you better be able to ride in one vehicle.

Loved it!
Loved it, only 2 negatives. We were not told it was only 1 parking pass per condo, so my son had to park in public parking. And we never could get the air conditioning to work, very there are ceiling fans in every room and it wasn’t hotter while we were there. Everything else was perfect! Highly recommend! (We let them know and they are getting maintenance working on the air)

old, worn and dirty....not the daily cleaning but years of build-up
I let the management company know it was not their issue but an owner issue. Gave the owner ample amount of time and options to rectify but received no response from the owner. The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. great location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Nice location
Condo was old and in serious need of updating. No shade or blinds in the living room. Only allowed one parking space per condo at a additional fee. Any additional vehicles had to park off site. The air filter was so filthy we replaced it. Lights flickering in the bathroom. Some lamps not working. The view was beautiful but hard to enjoy thru dirty windows. The whole place smelled of bleach especially the refrigerator. The wire shelf in the freezer was rusty. The coffee pot was old, stained, and the warming plate was rusty. It needed to be replaced. Only one working elevator for the whole building. I am certain I will not be returning to this facility in the future and I will not recommend it to my family or friends. For the price it was a disappointment. The only positive I can give it was the location.

Perfect place to stay for Hangout Fest!
If you are looking for the closest property to the Hangout Music Festival, look no further! Literally the closest building to the hangout main stage. Almost too close to the fireworks show. Condo was roomy, but in dire need of updates and a deep cleaning. Main office is not colocated. They were very accommodating though and called me the day of check in to talk me through late check in procedures. Parking is purchased separately at the condo office on-site. ($27) Not sure why 1 parking spot wasn’t included, also be aware on busy weeks they will only sell you 1 parking pass per condo unit.
