8th Floor Beachfront Condo at Island Winds West is situated in the heart of Gulf Shores. Island Winds West is the first complex on West Beach Boulevard, so you are in walking distance to many of the attractions and events. This is THE best location in town and the beachfront views are second to none. This immaculate unit has been recently renovated and is just gorgeous with new paint, decor, a king mattress, and new queen-sized sleeper sofa. Features include: Gulf front and side views, fully equipped kitchen, convenient location to downtown, gulf front pool, kiddie pool, walk to restaurants and shops, hang out and shrimp festival favorite, washer and dryer, cable TV and DVD. The unit sleeps 4 with a king bed (brand new mattress as of May '22) in the bedroom and queen sleeper sofa in living room and high-end cotton linens.

Complex Amenities; Outdoor pool, kiddie pool, fitness room, and BBQ area

Be sure to book this unit early for the Shrimp Festival and Hangout Music Festival because it is in high demand.

Parking is limited to one (1) car. You will receive an email in advance of your arrival to register and pay for your parking pass. If you do not receive it, please let us know. You must complete this step in advance of your arrival. Upon arrival, you will need to visit the Island Winds East front desk to pick up your parking pass. Island Winds West is charging $50 per parking pass. This price can change at any time, without notice.

The condo was nice, view was amazing, kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals. Our only complaint was the bed was not comfortable for us. We are used to a firm mattress but this one was very soft. And, the code provided for the fitness room was incorrect.

Loved unit and location…building was very well maintained. Perfect size for my husband and myself. Instructions on line were precise and easy to follow. Contacts with management was good. Everything was in unit we needed. Our only issue was perhaps bathroom floor was not as clean as it could have been and sink in bathroom/ kitchen appeared plugged and would think that would have been noticed when cleaning.

The location was great! We liked this area a lot better than Orange beach area! The pool are was nice and the walk way to the beach. The condo was very nice and had all the amenities. The only suggestions I have is a room darkening shade for the bedroom due to the hallway light outside the room, more than 1 roll of toilet paper and maybe a high top table for balcony to see over the railing better. Also the trash people emptying the dumpsters at 4am was very annoying. Other than that great place!! Thank you!

This is our 2nd year in a row of renting the same condo unit. The 8th floor gives you spectacular views for miles looking from the balcony! The white sandy beaches just enhance the experience. Great property and plenty of incredible food just minutes away. We will be back again next year for another 8-days! Thank you for having us again!!
