Once again VRBO has not let me down! Loved this property in pictures and fell in love in person! Beautiful and spacious! Spent the week for my daughter's dance competition and my anniversary! Had an amazing time! Kristin was a great host and addressed any issues immediately! AC went out one night and she bought had us go to dinner on her while they fixed it! 5 star house and host! Good Place To Stay To Enjoy The Beaches of Gulfport!
We stayed here during 4th of July this year and really enjoyed our stay. The home itself is flawless - soaring ceilings, historic charm, beautiful backyard and patio, and the property mgmt co. provided many snacks/waters/soaps/comfy blankets to make us comfortable during our stay. They were also very responsive the times I called. It's proximity to the beach made this an ideal location for us to setup too. Now for the not so great - the surrounding area of the home is not ideal... at all. During the entirety of our stay, there were a group of 3+ homeless men setup in tents directly across the street. Due to the fact that there is no driveway/gated parking we had to park on the street. This meant that the group of men across the street were very aware of our comings and goings. To be fair, we never felt unsafe and had no trouble at all with this during our 3 night stay. However, this was definitely something that bothered me in the sense that I had a small worry of a car break in/etc. which is not something anyone would hope for during a vacation. There is also a derelict home abutting to the left side of this VRBO. Again, no real issue especially once inside or in the beautiful backyard - but these are things that may have materially affected my decision to stay here had I known in advance. At the end of the day, we understood that we were not necessarily visiting a 5 star resort, nor did we have the expectation given the very fairly priced VRBO. These are also not things the mgmt. co. can directly control so this is not necessarily a critique of them at all. More of a full disclosure kind of deal. Again, we had a lovely stay and if this property was in a slightly better surrounding area this would be a perfect 5/5.

The house was beautifully decorated, as well as very comfortable. We were located close enough to New Orleans and Mobile, we could enjoy day trips. There was no hassle of keeping up with keys. The management was low profile, but quick to respond when the tv would not connect to Wi-Fi. ...And the beachers are beautiful.
