1st called hotel asked if there was a deposit person on phone said no then I get there they said yes,745 est doing maintenance next room over by staff,talking loud by staff wile doing work,terrible will never use motel 6 ever again
The room was not clean. The tub was dirty and urine on the toilet seat. Also the hotel was under construction so there were mattresses all over. The shower handle was stuck and the pool was unusable. Spoke with the mgmt, they offered 20% off but have not recieved it as of yet.
Check in was very easy. If you stay on the 2nd floor, there is no elevator so you have to use outside stairs. You could smell weed as soon as you open your car doors in the parking lot. They are apparently doing renovations to some of the rooms, so it was like walking through a construction zone. AC worked. Shower was very tiny and shower floor was dirty. Bed was uncomfortable and loud. Smells and light came from under the door. Did have a fridge and microwave. No carpet. No one came to desk for me to check out, so I just left the key on the counter.
I asked for non-smoking and the room given reeked of cigarette smoke. The second room had significantly less an odor, but there was still an odor. Had to run bathroom vent and a/c continuously to get rid of it. Manager said rooms are non smoking but people smoke anyway. They need a way to clean the air.
The room was a garish orange with orange bedspreads. It was like being inside a toaster oven. The room was shabby and the water pressure was very weak. Essentially it was one step up from a dump
Let me start by saying I originally had a problem getting proper accommodations from the hotel. They refuse for my assistant to check in for me after Expedia clearly put in the notes Michael Morgan was going to check in for me. Then when my assistant arrived to the hotel they were very racist towards him and lied and told him they cancelled the reservation and did not. We had to book another hotel far my worksite because of the racism. Every hotel was booked in the area and I was extremely irrate. This was a business trip! I would like to know if I am going to be accommodated and refunded for this situation.
