I ended up staying here because the hotel that I was booked at called me and said they were having a plumbing issue and that they couldn’t honor my reservation. Let me tell you… This is a utilitarian hotel. The staff is pleasant, but not overly courteous, the rooms are old and smell of cigarette smoke even if it’s a non-smoking room, the air conditioning has a weird smell, and you can hear the traffic outside regardless of what side of the hotel you were on. It’s not a place I would seek out to stay at again.

This hotel needs a serious update. The pillows are small, beds are hard as a rock. The staff & breakfast are the only good thing about this place.

The property is maintained very well. The room was neat and clean. The hotel is old without the newest conveniences but it appears that the owners do the best they can with what the have. I would definitely stay there again.

There was hair in the bathtub. Yuck. Overall, the place could use a face-lift - especially for the steep price. Obviously its super close to PNC - which is nice.

Mid-town is MID at best

Motel is very old, not well-kept, and poorly managed. Plumbing was broken, the tiny shower stall curtain was old, moldy, and terribly stained, I had to ask for it to be changed twice before they agreed. Furniture was from colonial days and chipped and worn down. Bed was actually quite comfortable.

The room size was small but clean. It was quiet. I liked the free breakfast but it was a small area. Service was good, but not particularly friendly. It was a good place for our overnight stay.
