Very walkable: One minute from Tram 4 station, 3 minutes to Viking Line ferry, 12 minutes to center. Three well-equipped kitchen with refrigerator and I liked the system labeling the box for your food and loved the free sauna in the morning! Basic clean room and facilities. Good value for an expensive city like Helsinki.
Quiet and comfortable. Helpful staff. Sometimes bathroom was crowded but went to next floor to use those facilities. No time to visit sauna, alas!
Easy walk or tram into town.
The staff are great and the location is also great. Unfortunately the budget rooms soundproofing isnt good so we heard the neighbours having loud sex most of the night. I think they were shooting a porno. But even when they were just talking we could hear every word. This was the last thing we needed after being stuck on a delayed train for 9 hours from Oulu.
This the second time I stay at Eurohostel. I love this place because it offers a reasonable price, it is walking distance from city center. The premises are very clean. There is a morning sauna free to use which is a great advantage and the place is very quiet. Staff is lovely and friendly. Next time I visit Helsinki I will stay at Euro Hostel.

Liked: Cleanliness
Pros:
-Comfortable bed. I like medium hard bedding. Good for my spine.
-Quiet neighborhood
Cons:
-weak soundproof. Can hear neighbor from up, down, left, right
-no condiments in pantry. Not even salt or oil
-4th floor pantry smells bad with curry leftover smell.
-2nd floor female toilet sewage smell is really very terrible. Can smell everyday
Great deal with clean, spacious rooms. The shower could have been cleaner and the water could have been hotter, but that was my only complaint. Otherwise a lovely stay and very comfortable for a hostel!
The rooms were a bit cool as only option is air conditioner. The first room I stayed was unbelievably stinky because of a guy with stinking foot. But the reception helped me to move to another room.
Usual youth hostel facilities. Welcoming staff. Small cafe/bar. Easy to get to from the railway station (get the #4 tram if you don't want to walk the 1.6km). Very handy to Viking Line ferry (200m).
