Helsinki April trip

The location is really good near the main central train station. The front desk service is excellent. The breakfast is the best I have been to. I like the city Helsinki, the time April is good for the visit. I had a wonderful trip there. The price is reasonable.

The hotel provides free drinks, cookies and apples at the lobby when we arrived. That was a pleasant surprise to us as we were tired, thirsty and hungry from the travel. The reception staff (a male trainee) was very patient and helpful in attending to us and introducing the locations to us. Room size was spacious for 2 of us and breakfast was fabulous. Me and husband really enjoys it especially the bacon and sausage.

Excellent location within easy walking distance of city centre and transport options. The communal areas are in great condition and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent with a wide range of choice including vegan / gluten free etc. Unfortunately the rooms are in dire need of a refurb and it is for that reason I wouldn't stay again. The furnishings are bashed up and headboards are peeling off. The curtains are dirty and the beds/pillows are very uncomfortable. We asked to be moved to a different room but it was no better. The staff were apologetic and acknowledged the rooms needed refurbs but it didn't really help us at the time. A real shame as it is definitely not what you expect from a Radisson.

Radisson Blu Plaza Review

We loved the hotel and the staff. The location of the hotel was convenient, being walking distance to the train station and many site seeing buildings. The staff were very helpful and they even let us store our luggage there when we returned 3 days later. The buffet breakfast was amazing with lots of variety. Would highly recommend.
