If you want 5 star, look somewhere else because Abbey Lodge isn’t that. It’s basic, it needs decorating, however the basics are ok. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the sheets were spotless. Breakfast wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it filled a gap. Think backpacker vibes. My daughter and I just needed somewhere to sleep for the night, we were arriving late and leaving early, it was ideal for that. Also free parking.

A comfortable hotel, with very friendly staff, great off street parking, very comfortable beds, very close to shops / town centre, didn't know if hotel was busy or not as very quiet at night. Peaceful

"I am a f###ing Delight" displayed on the receptionist's t-shirt on arrival sums up the stay. No real care for detail and attention of their guests. Room was very tired looking and needing some attention.

The room given was quite small . No cupboard only hooks on the wall . As we are 70 year plus the room was given was on 2nd floor with no lift . Most of the staircase there was nothing to hold . Very accident prone . Was very scared to go on the stairs . Will not book this again .

Really enjoyed the convenience of how close it was to the train station and Eden area that's where all the restaurants are... Walking distance to sights like the Wycombe Museum and also coffee shops down the road and eateries. Perhaps can variate the free breakfast daily as it got a bit boring after Day3. We stayed 6 nights so... It just got boring after a while. Upside although it is an old hotel with old furniture it was clean. Oh also the pillows were a bit too thin so we stacked it up to create a good height. It was a restful and quiet place to rest after a long day of walking around.

Accommodation was good. But shower too low for someone over 6'4". Room was flean and adequate. Breakfast could have been a bit better but again adequeate. Receptoon staff very helpful and friendly.
