The hotel was great, the casino was normal. If you want to eat, they have very few options. Almost ALL of their restaurants are closed. On a weekend???? We tried to eat breakfast at the diner. They wouldn’t seat amymore people (there were at least 20 open tables and maybe 10 occupied) because they didn’t have enough staff. As the ONLY open restaurant, we werent eating breakfast unless we went elsewhere. Which we did and will continue to. Himkley used to be a fun overnight stay. Never again (we had 2 rooms and none of use will return)

Some problem with the heating and the thermostat performance in my room,. however the maintenance guy certainly did what he could do, he admitted there was a design flaw with where the thermostats were placed in the rooms which causes the problems. He had to turn the heat on high leave the fan on constantly and he gave me extra blankets. Ended up OK
