I had to make a last minute change to my reservation, and Dave- one of the managers- was beyond helpful and kind, even though it was my fault I had to change the reservation. The hotel is a convenient walk to the Brook Street pier, where many of the tours pick up, or the tours will also pick up just around the corner from the hotel on Harrington Street. If you need to take a bus to Launceston, the Kinetic Bus stop is just 2-3 blocks walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

All good except the behavior of the night manager. We stayed 2 nights and got a standard king size bed room with look out directly to the wall of the next hotel withJust few daylight and machine noises outside. We were frustrated and ask the night Manager for solution. 4 times we got the answer that it will take 5-10 minutes to clarify thr existing options. We never got an answer or a solution. To not get further frustrated we had just accepted the situation. Next time ee will not come back but look for accomadation with a good Service because makes for us the best feeling.

Excellent service with nice hotel view and i didnt know they had a safe within the room to keep all your belonging in which really good of them. Room service had your room cleaned and look after everyday. Nice restaurant on the ground floor for breakfast, luch and dinner option and food was really good btw.

The staff would extend your stay for an hour for fee if needed. They would also provide a power cord if you need one. Complimentary detergent is definitely a plus! The pool was also nice as well as the breakfast!

Great property with a good breakfast. Only issue is that my bedside light would not go off as the button was indented. I called the desk at 450pm to tell them and they said they would send someone up. Around 730pm I was getting ready for bed to wake up for my 5am flight and went down to the front desk to check on it because no one had come up. The front desk manager said "can you handle it I am very busy right now and can't get to it until later". It involved wiring that was underneath the headboard that's bolted on the wall and me on my hands and knees just to get the entire back lights unplugged. Other than that, great hotel and good service.

I am giving five star on everything however, I request for a room services on thursday, not sure they came in or not but the room was still the same. Can room serves review their work. I gave sign in the door, that they can come in for cleaning but nothing. However, else all was okay 👍 Cheers!

There is a very limited car park and the near by car park is very unsafe, my car window was broken and my tires were deliberately damaged by nails.Took out both of my front tires which is very very unlikely to be an accident. The staff was friendly and approachable, but the hotel does not seem to have an idea what should be offered in rooms. Had to pay 12 dollars for a per of typical paper/fur slippers. Things like these really let me down during my stay, keep in mind the things that I’d expect to have been given in any other hotel, Ibis styles might charge you extras. Unless you got an amazing deal that includes breakfast (ps: which I was fortunate to get on Expedia) keep Ibis styles as your last resort if you really need to stay at a city Centre hotel.

Ibis styles is a newer property located in the heart of Hobart. It was conveniently close to Salamanca Wharf and all the local shops. The rooms were clean and quiet with basic facilities. Absolutely pleasure to stay at. Would return for another stay in the future.
