Great property right in the middle of CBD with most places at walkable distances. Skybus stops right outside the hotel. The hotel has good ambience and the rooms( including the bathrooms) are clean and well equipped.

Review for RACV Hobart I recently had the pleasure of staying at RACV Hobart, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The location is perfect—central to Hobart’s best attractions, with easy access to Torist Information Center, Museums, local Hospital, Synagogue, Salamanca Market, the waterfront, and fantastic dining options. The rooms are spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches like comfortable bedding and high-quality amenities. The views from my room were stunning, showcasing the beauty of Hobart’s cityscape and surrounding hills. Dining at the hotel was a highlight—the breakfast buffet was varied and delicious, catering to all tastes. The in-house restaurant also offered an excellent menu featuring fresh, local ingredients, which really added to the Tasmanian experience. What stood out most was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality from every team member. It’s clear that RACV Hobart prides itself on creating memorable experiences for its guests. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hobart and look forward to returning in the future. I was at my grief week of loosing my family member but this week helped me to self reflect and prepare myself to a Ceremony ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The RACV Hobart Hotel in Collins St. is very central to downtown Hobart and our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Great staff ! Room was huge and phenomenal. If we couldn’t get an onsite parking spot, we had free valet parking. Had drinks at the lively onsite bar. Close to waterfront and shopping dining. Note that if you elect to not have housekeeping, you’ll get a $10 AUD pp voucher to use in the bar.

"Well yes, I made this booking at the request of my husband, who was coming off the Overland Track a day earlier than expected. THANKS for being available! Reviews were great and so were the photos... I would have enjoyed taking advantage of this. BUT THEN he decided to try and catch the flight back to Adelaide today after I'd already booked the room. It was a long drive from Lake St Clair directly to the airport, so the two of them (him and old friend from Colorado) couldn't even take advantage of your beautiful hot shower. So now I will be picking them up at 10:30pm here in Adelaide, and driving them back to our house with all the windows down. Again, thanks so much for taking my reservation, and if you need to resell this room again tonight, I give you full permission. Cheers, Jill "
