The good and the bad
I have stayed at this hotel many times before and not had a problem. This time was different. Hotel was beautiful, and room was quite nice, but service could be improved. Asked for a quiet room; was given a room right next to the ice machine. Very loud at times. Emailed the manager the week before to ask about using a conference room; never got a response. Front desk guy just told me to call sales (but didn’t give me a name or number). Worst part was the valet service. Someone decided they couldn’t guarantee the safety of someone’s monstrous Tesla Cybertruck if they parked it, so they left it parked right in front of the only hotel entrance for the entire weekend. This made it impossible for other guests to pull in to check in, and Ubers had to wait down the street or just stop in the middle of traffic. It was chaos and really annoying. And when I asked if they could keep my rental car parked in front for 15 min while I ran in and changed clothes, they refused. Guess it’s only high-end cars that get that privilege.

Really liked how close it was to dining options and close to the Houston Museum of Fine Arts. The staff in the restaurant on the second floor was wonderful. Breakfast was good and hot. Beds and room were clean and comfortable. Will stay again.
