The room was clean. two negatives missing a microwave and the curtains are very thin and with the giant Street laid out front did not darken the room very well

The pool water makes your skin and suit smell like sour laundry. The gym has only 1 piece of working equipment, it would have been nice to use a treadmill! You have 500 Michigan Department of Corrections of recruits staying at hotels around the area. We visited the Hampton Inn and it was 100x better than the Windham. I’m not asking for 5 star, but a non burnt breakfast, gym equipment that works, and a not smelly pool would be nice!

When we checked in, we were given a dirty room. The room we stayed in was clean for the most part but the bathroom showed signs of wear and in need of repair. There was about an inch of dust on the headboards and our cable was out for most of our stay. The carpet in the hallways was frayed and worn. The laundry facilities were out of order. There was so much chlorine in the pool that the smell hit you from outside before you even entered the building. The whirlpool had something in it that created bubbles that stuck on my grandson and he ended up with a rash. My other grandson wouldn’t even go into the pool. There were multiple police in the pool area for several hours. Not sure what that was about. Guests came in for some sort of sports competition and they were in the hallways being extremely loud and drinking alcohol in the common areas. We were given a discount on our stay but I can honestly say that I will never stay there again and makes me question the Wyndham name.
