Heavy weed and cigarette smoke smell
The front staff is very friendly. The rooms are cleaned and bed comfortable. HOWEVER, it is labeled as “NON SMOKING”, on the hallways, and the entrance the smell of smoke and weed was unbearable. Woke up in the middle of the night couple of times, due to the strong weed smell. Not pleasant at all and when someone suffers from asthma it is not safe or healthy. The breakfast room is unattended, and kids go in without any adult supervision.

It was overly furnished. And the room smelled awful.. as for the peace it was loud and was woken up multiple times by more permanent guests running up and down the hallway and slamming doors.

This hotel is way more dated than the photos show. It was loud all through the night and there were people in the parking lot all through the night blasting music from their cars. At breakfast there was an altercation between management and a man over whether he was a guest or not. The man continued to stay a yell profanities in front of our small children.

Awful. Don’t waste your money. Description said we got two queen size beds and they were full beds, the shower had no liner just a curtain, the tub was dirty, the “clean” towels smelled like they were never washed, shady activity going on outside of the hotel. THE WORST PART: we got back from our outing at 12:30 am for bed (with our two kids) I never got my son to bed till 3:30 am because the room above us was SO loud and throwing a party, our room reeked of weed, kids screaming in the hallway all hours of the early morning, smoking defiantly done in the hotel.

from the location to the smell you could tell this hotel probably had some issues. while the lady at the front counter was very nice it did absolutely nothing to the hotel. the hallways smelled, the carpet was stained with what looked like blood splatter, we got 2 rooms our room smelled like a smoke den as soon as you entered it. the other room smelled better but all of the sheets had burnt cigarette holes on all of them. you could tell there was residents there because no one seemed surprised that there was smoking in the rooms. when i went down to complain about the smell in my room the receptionist said yeah we have told him before to stop and he hasn't. i told her that we would NOT be staying the remainder of our stay that we would like a refund for the other 2 nights. she said she would make a note of it, when we checked out in the AM, the new receptionist was rude and not helpful at all and said they wouldn't refund the remaining nights.

This was not a good experience. The property was not in the best area of Indy. The facility was smoke free but smelt like marijuana not just when arriving but through the facility. We were really disappointed.

We checked out 10 minutes after checking in. The hallway smelled like weed and the floor of the bedroom was wet because the air conditioner was leaking. The room was very basic. Seemed more like a $60 hotel room than a $140 one.

The rooms were clean but the hallway smelled of cigarettes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did have problems with our key cards randomly not working. Some of the people hanging out in the seating area outside were a bit unsettling. However, they left when security was added.

You get what you pay for.
Room 138 was close to back door I enjoyed the quick access to my vehicle. However the water temp in the shower was a little cold. There was food left in the microwave upon arriving into the room other than those few things I slept well, & it wasn’t too bad for the price. We renewed the same room after this trip & seen a baby roach so we moved rooms and haven’t seen one since. An exterminator did come and spray so this hotel is doing its best and has a lot of potential to be even better. Breakfast & WiFi is pretty good no complaints there. I’d stay again for sure tho bc the employees are excellent 💯

Our stay consisted of 2 nights. We arrived on Friday 13th after 8p due to our drive from STL. Upon entering our room our toilet seat was dirty, no blow dryer, no iron but had an iron board. No door hanger for door. our actual hotel door did not lock. Went down to check in lobby and notified front desk about our issues. They said some rooms were being redone. Moved us from a king size bed to 3 double beds. Blow dryer didn’t work but I received a new one from front desk. Bathroom needed repairs. No door hanger, fridge didn’t get cold, a/c wouldn’t cool down. Hotel needs a lot of renovations in their rooms. No I won’t use Baymont hotels again when I come back to Indiana.
