I've been to the Devon hotel a few years ago and it was amazing. The staff were so lovley, the room was clean and spacious, great value for money and the bed was the comfiest bed id ever slept in.

I was particularly impressed with the staff. Irrespective of which area they worked in, they were all cordial and quick to offer assistance. They all had a cheerful outlook. Overall, i was extremely impressed and will stay there again.

The hotel, its location its staffing were all great, pricing acceptable. What I didn't like was the tiny room - I shouldn't have to walk crab-fashion to get around the end of the bed en route to the bathroom.

The Devon is lovely. The restaurant had a beautiful selection of food (buffet) and all the staff were amazing. Even the late night cleaner went out of his way to help us! The only recommendation would be to be aware of the upper floors- there is no lift and as we were staying for the week we had large bags. Lugging these up the stairs was a task. If we had known that there was no lift we would have requested ground floor.

I loved the big window in my room looking at the garden and the sign in the toilet reminding people to be mindful of the unnecessary waste. Great to be so close to the ocean as well to allow for a morning dip before getting on with the day. I just couldn’t find the towel when I arrived as tucked under the sink so maybe having a towel on display by the shower would be great.
