Ocean views all over house, pool, beach access in front of deck/screened porch. Great ocean views and beach access with the second row price! This house, called Sea View, is a charming, traditional, ocean-side, beach house . It is one of the few historical cottages left on the island. The warmth and charm are there and we have up-dated and remodeled. It has five bedrooms and three full baths . Upstairs, bedroom one has a king, bedroom two has a queen and bunk, and bedroom three has a queen and twin. The downstairs apt has a queen in one bedroom and a small bedroom has a double bed. There is a double futon in the living area as well....all of this makes sleeping arrangements more flexible. Two additional, enclosed, beach showers are downstairs as well. There is a huge deck and screened porch with OCEAN VIEWS from all over the house. We are seven minutes from Wild Dunes, and 20 minutes from Charleston. The beach access is DIRECTLY in front of the house, and you are just seconds from the water! There is a private pool in the back yard and you are within walking distance of restaurants and shops!!!

'Sea View"' is very charming and lends itself to a variety of needs with sleeping arrangements to accommodate 2 to 14 guests comfortably. The down stairs is actually an attached, REMODELED (tiled floors and granite tops) 'mother-in-law' apartment which adds to its flexibility. WiFi included as well!

There is off-street parking for 4 vehicles. The home is equipped with two separate living areas, fireplace, and large sun room, as well as washer/dryer. Features include tongue-and-groove oak walls and heart of pine floors. Flat screen TV's with cable are in just about every room!...and free wi-fi! A private swimming pool adds to the perfect location. There is a gas grill available, and if you have a pet (maximum of two), it is welcome with a pet fee per pet. The house is just a block from shops and restaurants....located at 817 Ocean Blvd., IOP..... Prices vary according to the season.
We have added a private driveway and parking space so whether the surf is up or down, there are places to park!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The location is perfect for daily walks on the beach and very close for day trips to Charlston and Ft. Sumter. The home is spacious and comfortable. The property was as advertised. Very nice and a great location. Home is older and the unit on the lower level are separated from the upper level. This obviously can be both good and bad. Pool was very convenient and well maintained. would definitely go back.

This was our 4th time staying in IOP, and this house and location was the best by far! The house is so charming and comfortable. The beach access is directly across the street and it’s a quick walk to several great local restaurants. We felt right at home. Beds were very comfortable, there is a lot of space to gather & the pool was a big hit! We so appreciated being able to bring our dogs. Carly is the best! She was so welcoming and helpful. We are definitely going to come back!

A very nice and charming property that is well-kept with unbeatable location. Owner is very kind and lives very close by and is eager to help guests enjoy their stay. I prefer a door code rather than having to pick up a key from the owner because I'm afraid of losing the key, but that is all I can think of to improve the experience.

The place was great for our group of 9, and the location was so convenient to the beach and a couple of breakfast spots. We went into Charleston several times and the wait time wasn't bad for Ubers. Hanging out by the pool and the house was nice too! Carly was super responsive with our questions, which was helpful.

Great Stay by Beach
Recently stayed here with 8 other people for a friends trip. The house is fantastic - plenty of room for the group, and a nice pool! The location is amazing - could not be much closer to the beach, easy walk to bars and IOP. Carly was easy to communicate with and helped with anything that came up. Will definitely be back!

Perfect location!
We loved the location - easy access to beach & quick walk to restaurants & ice cream! The house is very charming & accommodated our group of 6 adults & 3 children perfectly. The pool was a big hit with the kids & adults, and the enclosed outdoor showers were a big plus. Carly & Steve were very gracious in responding to any needs. We would definitely rent again!

Great for a bachelorette weekend!
Had the best time with 13 girls total. Plenty of space for everyone and having the pool & beach options were fantastic. If you have a big group, I’d recommend bringing extra trash bags just for cleanup, especially if you’re eating any meals at the house. It can be a little tricky to get Ubers into downtown but if you plan ahead, it’s okay! Also just a heads up, the house did NOT have oil/butter or condiments for cooking or grilling so make sure you buy your own. Overall, AMAZING stay and Carly was so responsive and helpful!! I highly recommend and would return!!
