This is a pretty good hotel, especially for what you're paying for. I actually stayed here 2 nights. The first room was a bit below my expectations since the shower did not drain properly, so I had to run it off and wait for the water to drain. But other than that, the room was spacious and clean. The second night I stayed we were in a different room and had to go many flights up the stairs. Definitely not a hotel for the handicapped or disabled. The room was better, but the water in the shower wasn't as hot as I would have liked. I guess you can't have it all here, but you do get what you pay for. And it was still worth it, in my opinion.
The best part about this hotel is the service. Violetta and Yesse ran the front desk and were very friendly and helpful. They left me with a good impression of this place, despite the shower issues.
The location is perfect for Old City Sultanahmet and right behind the Blue Mosque. It's only a couple minute walk from the Hippodrome and a 9 minute walk to the Sultanahmet Tramway Station.
The Wi-Fi and breakfast was free, so that was nice also. They provide you with cereals, European ham, cheeses, bread, and olives, the typical Turkish breakfast, alongside tea or coffee. I would stay here again when I go back to Istanbul.
